Itachi (completely healthy) vs Sasuke (MS)

Itachi is a more experienced ninja and also has jutsus that sasuke dosen't know about,lets not forget this guy joined ANBU at the age of 13.So besides susano,MS he has other jutsus we don't know about.

this thread is not plausible at all.. sasuke got his MS when his brother died in front of him.. so in short the battle of sasuke with MS with itachi is not likely to happen because itachi is the key for sasuke to have MS..

if this thread is hypothetically done.. it should take into consideration the plausibility of the battle.. it cannot happen at all..

all sasuke has to do to obtain the MS is to kill a close friend or a family member, so this fight is on and possible, (wern"t u listening when itachi told sasuke tht "i order to have the same eyes as i (itachi), u have to kill ur closest friend, but sasuke ddnt want to kill naruto, b'cuz he wanted to kill itachi in his own way (bad move)) so sasuke could have killed sakura or naruto to obtain the MS before the fight,

which would have bieng in vain, b'cuz even with MS itach would still kick sasuke's ass, kick his ass in hell, kick his ass in heaven, kick his ass in dreamworld, even in a genjutsu created by sasuke, itachi would still kick his ass, even with one arm, ok scratch the last part,

Itachi would of easily one, he managed to fight with Sasuke and nearly beat him while suffering from disease and blindness and not wanting to kill Sasuke. Sasuke with MS (which he hasn't had as much practise with it as Itachi has). Itachi was known as a genius in the Uchiha, that wasn't just referring to his Sharingan skills, but to his other Ninja skills, like his Nature (his affinityies are water and fire, foudn from here:

) skills. To be able to be a threat to Madara is another thing that suggests his skill is immense. Sasuke's skills pale in comparison.

Anyways, we are definitely going to see Itachi again, because he was ressurected by Kabuto with IWR, so I bet we will see more of his true powers.

ItachI is very skilled in taijutsu since he held his own against sasuke while half blind and his ninjutsu is around sasuke's level, We see this with his fire style and I wouldn't doubt if itachi has more than one elemental type. Also, sasuke's genjutsu does not compare with itachi's. Overall, a healthy itachi wins in taijutsu and genjutsu to ms sasuke and though the both are geniuses, itachi has more experience and is not as cocky as sasuke which allows him to see clearly what he must do as the fight progresses, so itachi wins in tactics and strategy as well.

itachi and sasuke didnt had a taijutsu-fight, after the shuriken they fought only in genjutsus. and every time sasuke charged with chidori towards itachi, itachi tried to escape. he obviously didnt want to fight in close combat and we havent seen him ever use taijutsu at all.
he could have a second element, but he never used it, therefore nobody ever could calculate it's strength. let's stay with the facts.
both's katon might be on the same level, but still, katon is way inferior to raiton over all and so far itachi hasnt shown anything else in that category, therefore in ninjutsu sasuke remains superior.
considering genjutsu i think you might be right, the question is weather the gap is big enough to deal with sasuke with only genjutsu and tactics. sasuke's genjutsus seem to have improved as well:

so i cant even say that if itachi had powered genjutsus, sasuke couldnt escape them. that's what will decide that fight.

Well if your talking about the illusion with madara in it, i dont think sasuke wanted to break it. But sasuke broke every other genjutsu itachi put on him. Im not bashing on itachi he is smart but sasuke seems to have a different kind of intelligence that helps him out, he might not have the best battle plan going in but once in the battles he is a quick thinker. Remember the battle between sasuke and the guy who uses the exploding clay?(sorry forgot name) HE did handle that very effectively during battle. But im still going for sasuke because he just has a mo re battle ready intelligence.

and that is said and shown where exactly in the manga? sorry dude, but in the manga i read he is a strong genjutsu fighter who isnt that impressive apart from his ms and genjutsus.

that's exactly the point of this discussion. we have seen itachi and sasuke being on the same level when they fought, only to hear that itachi was weakened and still hold back to some degree. now sasuke is stronger than that, so the big question is how much did he hold back and how strong was the influence of the disease on his fighting power.

the interesting point is that most of the pro-itachi-arguments are these "if he had a second element", "if sasuke couldnt break his genjutsus anymore", because if you imagine an itachi who had just boosted what he has shown against sasuke, he would have a hard time. the only thing where he really is superior is genjutsu and there it would depend just on the question whether sasuke is able to break it. if he is and itachi doesnt have a huge battleplan in shikamaru-fashion, sasuke would win.
