yeah they are both jounin, i think neji is the only ranked jounin out of his age group still even tho naruto and sasuke are stronger they are genin and missing-nin. Neji freed himself, lee and tenten from water prisons (something kakashi couldn't' do vs zabuza). and idk if he would, would nunchuckus help vs neji? it'd be interesting to see a base taijutsu spar between the 2, when they were younger neji owned the hell out of lee every time and lee has all the same skills as guy did (besides his top 2 killer moves) so if at same skill level (genin v genin) he beat lee easily, then jounin v jounin i think he could do the same (assuming neji has progressed to match up skill-wise)
Theres also shikamaru whos a jounin as well from their age group.
Not sure it would help but it would be kind of funny to see Neji get smacked in the face with Guys nunchucku. wack!
I see a lot in what you say but isnt Lee only able to open 5 gates, where as Guy can open 7?

I cant figure out if Nejis defensive rotation could stop guy(it can stop hundreds of kunai but thats not the same as a impact of Guys taijuitsu), and create a opening for a full body blow, because didnt neji kill the spider guy from the sound 5 with that move?
