ARACHNIDS, YAY!To note, I'm neither pro-Republican nor pro-Democrat, I'm pro-common-sense. However, I can't wait to hear Republicans whine and cry about this war the way the democrats did when Bush was in charge.
Oh well, at least it's a war on an actual solid object (the Lybian people) rather than a concept (terrorism). Maybe the next war we have will be against arachnids?
You were saying something about stupidity in the other thread....?Sounds great...
I don't think that's a good thing, mate -.-I smell another world war xd
that's quite a relief to hear.I think "war" is a little strong of a term here, no?
As of now there are no plans to have any ground forces in Libya and the plan is to hand over control in a matter of days.
Of course things could change, but as of now this isn't a war. Its just enforcing a no fly zone, something many countries other than the US agreed to.
Normally i would'nt agree, but unlike Iraq, france is in on this as well as other european countries so maybe there is a genuine reason. Still, it is funny nothing was done in darfur by the US where it was pretty much genocide over there.its not so much a full on USA vs Libiya war, its the US and other Nato/UN forces trying to oust a evil and inhumane dictator who has ordered his men to remove bodies from morgues and place them in compounds that are about to be bombs, who orders his troops to open fire on unharmed protesters. Now i'm not fully aware on the USA involvement in Libiya but its rather disturbing that people would believe that its all about the "oil" in the country, thats the view of a person who believes everything about they read in certain "news" organizations and doesn't bother actually searching for the truth about what goes on.
Well that's the only reason we help people anyway right? Because if there is no oil, the then the US doesn't care *sarcasm*.its not so much a full on USA vs Libiya war, its the US and other Nato/UN forces trying to oust a evil and inhumane dictator who has ordered his men to remove bodies from morgues and place them in compounds that are about to be bombs, who orders his troops to open fire on unharmed protesters. So because Europe is involved as well it must be on the level? The UK, Poland, Italy, Austrailia, Denmark, and Romania were all involved with the war in Iraq.Normally i would'nt agree, but unlike Iraq, france is in on this as well as other european countries so maybe there is a genuine reason. Still, it is funny nothing was done in darfur by the US where it was pretty much genocide over there.
