Interesting thought, yes I and many others are under the impression that Edo Tensei summons are as they were just before they died, but does someone have a link to this directly?
I'm starting to think that there is a possibility that the summons take a form as they were at their 'peak' not necessarily just before they died. Of course, we don't know Itachi's status yet, but I'd assume he isn't in his sickly state like he was when fighting Sasuke. But even if he was, he wouldn't get any worse as the battle went on since he is immortal. We know he could still see up to the verge of his death so either way, he will basically have full access to his MS as an immortal edo.
I guess a counter argument to the warriors being at their peak is Nagato. To me, he did look like he was in his exhausted white hair state just as he was when he died. Seems he will have limitations on what he can actually do.
hanzo doesnt know who pain really is when he died. and pain doesnt have a single scratch when he killed hanzo.lol
and mifune's counter to ninjutsu is just too lame.. preventing ninjas to form hand seals.bet he lose quickly when he faces ninja who do not use hand seal...like pain.xD

but it was ok 4 starz but some of the things mifune said were either translated wrong or something cuz i didnt understand the sword beginning part

Kishi mentioned, Iaitsu, which i looked up, is being the master of "mental presence and immediate reaction." So his judgement is flawless. That indicates his speed may not even be on par with raikage's, but yet a better user of the speed.

To be honest I disliked that chapter more than any other chapter since the beginning of the war. All we saw was the fight against Mifune and Hanzo, they could of showed us more of Asuma and the rest of team 10

Look at Nagito he is actually being carried around by Kazu so maybe it is entirely possible that they could be in the same state as they died in but the only objection that I have is that edo revives the soul not the body. so in theory they should all be fine. however, in short we do not know enough about the limits of the technique.
Also on a side note the next beach assult cold be a combo of Itachi and Nagito. Since it seems that kish devided up the groups to fight by what frames they were in so they will not be far behind. Possibally a fight between kitsuchi and both Nagito and itachi.
