Minato was a great ninja who didn't need something like that to make FTG! I'm still upset he copied TBB for Rasengan; Kishi should have him come to Naruto by his seal to say that it's just a coincidence to save his rep!

meaning it moves. and not teleport.
FTG is teleportation as you instantaneously appear near anywhere as long as the seal is in a particular location

Moving at the speed of light and teleportation are the same thing, they both would happen so fast, it would seem instant to anyone.

Kind of like Goku's 'instant transmission', which if I remember he says involves 'disassembling your matter into particles of light, and reassembling somewhere else'. Kind of like that teleporting guy from Xmen though, you gotta wonder, what happens if something gets transported INTO a person on the battlefield lmao, like darui ended up with the pot through his stomach

There is no way Goku had knowledge of moving particles of light... He wasn't dumb, but too naive.

Anyway, this technique is a lightning release, not a space/time ninjutsu of ANY sort. If you look at the sound effects, it says "bachichichichichichi", like Chidori does. Also, it's coming from a cloud ninja, and almost all of them shown thus far have used Lightning release. Omoi, Raikage, Shi, A, Darui, Killer Bee, and the Sandaime Raikage have all used it. On top of that, you can clearly see the lightning around the technique.

How is him copying the TBB for the Rasengan a bad thing? He was able to turn an attack by a tailed-beast into something a normal shinobi can use, granted its still hard to master. I'd say that's pretty impressive by itself; I don't get why you think it'll ruin his rep.

I think they could be similar. If you watch the first episode of Naruto it shows the fourth transport the fox away in a flash of light. But until and if we learn the principles of her juitsu anything said is pretty much a educated guess.

Mabui's (who's hot by the way) technique isn't the same as Minato's teleportation technique.

Like someone already said, Minato's jutsu was teleporting using space-time jutsu. Mabui's technique transports objects at the speed of light. The speed of light is a finite speed, so when Mabui sent the jar to Darui it was still moving. It didn't just pop there through some time-space jutsu.
