are they making Naruto and Sasuke to strong?

Then again the way Itachi was able to manipulate Tsukuyomi compared to Sasuke was way way better. Anyways, they need to be the strongest. He the main protagonist and Sasuke's one of the main antagonists atm so there's no other way than for them to be bother very strong.

I don't think Sasuke was stronger than Itachi until he took his eyes and got his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

To say they have to become strong because they are the main charachters isn't really a good reason. It should be the other way around because they are strong the become "legends" and people start telling tales about them in which they are the main charachters.

I think Kishimoto shouldn't overdo it because otherwise the role of all other ninja is pretty useless. He's already near the point now that they're are only 4-5 strong ninja's left who can put up a serious fight with Naruto. It would be more realistic if they showed him a bit more vulnerable and has to depend on his friends, team and strategy instead of willpower and a fox. That isn't going to win you a battle in real life as well. So I hope this war shows that all the side charachters can all put up a good fight and that people like Madara, Kabuto, Sasuke and Naruto don't seem too invincible.

If the 10-Tails does get revived Naruto will die because of the 9-Tails
