If the Uchiha were trying to take over the village, and Danzo sent Itachi to stop them before they did, that means that Danzo was trying to protect the village and in the end he did try and take out Madara so the eyes were put to use. And ya i agree he was an ******* but like i said early, the question wasnt who was the most popular it was who is the strongest. And he took Karin to distract Sasuke so he could focus on Madara for a genjutsu. And ya Baku was part elephant while slugs are gross. And I could care less if Danzo was Hokage for a day haha I even said earlier i only put him in cuz i preferred him over Tsunade. And Kakashi doesnt do it because he doesnt know how and would go blind in one eye. And Danzo could use wood so it is inferred that he can use earth and water. yea Danzo was a good guy in a way but a jerkoff with how he did stuff.. manipulates Kages and steals helpless gilrs and use them as hostages. he even said he was going to sacrifice Karin. wat a *****. yea Kakashi doesnt blah blah wateva what was your point of you comparing Kakashi to Danzo in the beginning if your gunna contrast them now?!? i agree slugs are disgusting but they are normal. i know what your saying Earth + Water equals wood. 1st off its argueable that Danzo, instead of using wood didnt just manipulate reality with Inazgi to make a tree appear there to save him. but if thats not the case and Danzo used wood style its from one arm. Yamato fuses water from one hand and earth in another and makes wood. Danzo has all the 1st DNA in one arm so he obviously cant do what Yamato does. and since there isnt any proof that Danzo used water or earth than its best to assume he can only use wind since thats the only thing he used and wood. but anyways he wouldnt be able to use wood if it wasnt for hashirama cells.

Izanagi alters reality. it can turn a situation of a person being harmed or dying into an illusion or increase a persons advantage. yes Danzo used Izanagi to protect himself from the arrow but a tree came outta nowhere either wood style or Izanagi.

Danzu was a***.. cool abilities and past.. but he was one of those characters who needed to die... naruto just killed off pein ... he was the strongest known shinobi in the world at the time.. kishi made danzu a kage just soo sasuke could kill him off and try to be even on the same level as naruto. who just mastered sage mode... and now that hes mastering the kyuubi... sasuke has itachi's gifts/ eyes... danzu was made a kage to be killed off. nothing more.
