Im just going to tell you Kishi's answer to the Hokage debate then you will all know who the strongest is and we can end this debate for awhile


1st place goes to......

the 3rd and 4th hokage with the 3rd coming out just a little on top

the 3rd has more exp and in his prime was called god of shinobi was able to beat the 1st and 2nd hokage in a fight at the same time when they could not die and was called the strongest hokage by Iruka

Kishi also said that the 3rd and 4th were tied for most powerful dead shinobi (the sage of the six paths is not really a shinobi so no plot hole) but do to the 3rd having more exp he come out with the number 1 spot

2nd place goes to the 4th but only but a tiny bit a fight bettween them could still go ether way

Kishi said he was the best along with the 3rd so done

3rd 1st hokage he beat Madara back in Madara's prime and then people hyped him out of preportion
he is not better then the 3rd or else the 3rd would not have beaten him and the 2nd at the same time as an old man

4th 2nd the dude has feats and if we learn more about him he may take the 3rd place spot from his bro

5th place 5th she has not shown anything in combat really so i can't rate her any higher she has super strangth and healing skills so we have to say she is the weakest she may show her power in the war though

If it wasnt him that actually chooses who wins and loses in the manga and the Naruto world was real bla bla bla.

I think the strongest Hokage is the 4th, remember the 3rd Hokage won the fight against the 1st and 2nd Hokage... thats because the 1st and the 2nd Hokage was resurrected by the Impure world resurrection, their abilities are limited.

Example: Kankuro vs The real Sasori = Kankuro was no match
Kankuro vs Sasori (resurrected by impure world) = Sasori easily defeated

actually it was Sai that actually beat Sasori Kakuro just had the trap that finished him off

Sasori was weaker then when he was alive purly because he was brought back in his human body and had no puppets because they are not part of him if he had his puppets he would have won the fight the edo tenseied Zombies are stronger then they were in life because they are immortal

Sasori lost because he was outnumbered and had no puppets. Sasori said him self that a puppeteer was really not all that good with out a puppet also Kankuro was stronger now then he was back then

anyway the 3rd only just beats the 4th in my list because he has more exp and is older has a counter to all Konoha jutsu (ems included according to Kishi) but he only beats the 4th out do to that and he is a bit smarter

you can't argue with my rankings (well you can argue with my ranking of the 3rd 4th and 5th place rankings but not the 1st and 2nd) Kishi the maker of the manga says 3rd and 4th are the best end of story

I would rank her 5th when the strength is measured in offensive powers in battle, such as damaging stuff. Even tho her insane superhuman strength is seriously strong, i think it overcomes some of the hokages abilities. But her chance to get a hit is probably lower.

the 5th is first when it comes to defensive abilities, thats for sure.

I can see why people would think the 4th is stronger mainly because of who it is written with how people talk about the 4th, they make it seem as if he is the strongest but if you look at when the 4th and 3rd were both at their prime, the 3rd is a tad bit better more to the fact he mastered so many jutsus while you only seem to notice a few of the 4th hokage's jutsus.
And I understand I have problems with how this work, kinda new at the replying thing.

Given the time he had he has come up with some awesome jutsu like the Flying Thunder God. The 4th also managed to shake up madara although he himself is more shaken he still puts up a good fight against a completely unknown enemy, whereas the 3rd wins against 2 shinobi's who he knows almost everything about

I said that a Fight between them could go ether way but Sarutobi knows about every Konoha jutsu and how to counter them that includes flying thunder god also the only reason i don't think that Minato is out right better then Sarutobi is because he died too young to get better then him add 10 more years to Minato and i bet he would be stronger

they are out right even but i just give it to Sarutobi because he has more exp with fighting and everything

During the Fight between Sarutobi and Orochimaru, if you had noticed, the Hokages were extremly weak.

Orochimaru hasn't perfected the technique unlike

and has a harder time controling them, and the amount he can summon.

I would have to say the 1st Hokage is at the top since before Konoha, was constantly at war and would most likely have more battle experience. He also 'defeated' Madara and made it out alive. Please try and understand that Madara is claimed as the strongest of the Uchiha clan to have existed. The Uchiha clan members on average are powerful.

There is no way that the 1st would lose to the 3rd, and with the 2nd tag teaming him...It just wouldn't be right. Not to mention that the 1st also had the power to control THE NINE TAILED FOX!

So my ranking would be:

1st
4th (Without him, the 3rd would not have the Reaper Death Seal)
3rd
2nd
and finally Tsunade.
