4. bee’s premise of 8:2 proportion of mixed chakra is compelling…hmmmmm, indeed a good topic leading to “juubi” discussions. why not 4:1 or 5:5 or …n:n?
i believe it is because 8+2 = 10, and ten (10) means “juubi powers”. but this is spiced up by the idea of the kyuubi chakra in coordination with the kyuubi’s will – leading to 9:9 giving us Naruto as a perfect jinchuriki – better than his current status --- which means “balance” --- yin-yang that is.

I think like all other juubi against octopus and fox , as all other are in hands of madara, 8 dark against 2 white

The new rasengan will indeed be powerful bc using the fox chakra compared to using naruto chakra will be worlds apart....

Hair type, also the clothes, as it seems like that character's chest is flat, Madara refers to her as a woman. I think thats Anko. :|
As in the previous chapter we saw Kabuto and Anko clash, as they let their snake jutsu onto eachother.

Alright, chapter examination time!
1. Sasori finds his peace and entrusts his father and mother puppets to Kankurou.
Kankurou summed it up correctly; because the seal Kabuto uses to control the ressurected corpses does not eradicate the personality of the person, it has a weakness. My best guess is that Edo Tensei somehow uses whatever the ressurected person did not complete in life - a dream, hope, ambition, whatever you want to call it - to bind that soul to the Earth plane and a dead corpse. When the ressurected soul finds their peace, they are released from their binds. Sai's brother, Shin, is released when he finally sees Sai's drawing and Sasori is released when he realizes that his soul is what made his puppets so powerful.
That aside, what kind of powers do the "Father" and "Mother" puppet have? Do they have the abilities Sasori's parent's did when they were alive? Do they have weapons or posions hidden inside of them like Sasori's other puppets?
2. Kabuto and Madara are enemies.
Kabuto, according to Madara, hopes that the allied shinobi forces and the Akatsuki will take each other out. Kabuto knew that Anko was there while Madara didn't. How far has Kabuto grown? Does he have sensory skills?
3. Kirabi and the Hachibi used to be in the "chakra stealing phase".
What I gather from this is that Kirabi and the Hachibi weren't friendly at first. How did they come to have the relationship they do now? Will Naruto every manage to become friendly with the Kyuubi?
4. Kirabi and the Rasengan
It seems possible to me that Namikaze Minato, genius that he was, saw a jinchuuriki or a bijuu using the Bijuu Bomb and modeled the Rasengan after it. Essentially, the Rasengan is a Bijuu Bomb with human chakra.

They continually improve on what works for them -- their particular style. Rasengan is already one of the most powerful forms of ninjutsu. Do you want Naruto to start over with a fresh technique?

I thought it was a great chapter, finally get to see how that massive chakra explosion is done ... it was pretty epic when naruto did that in 4 tails mode against Orochimaru.

A couple questions though, if the beast and host are constantly draining each other's chakras then wouldn't the beast always win since the host has clearly less chakra than the beast?

...there must be some way that the host can regulate how much chakra the beast eats up.

Another question, if Rasengan is the beast bomb for humans, is Chidora another tailed beast attack made for humans?

It appears that the Undead Resurrection is releases the soul once the soul has found it's resting place in world ... In Sai's book for sai's bro, and in Sasori's puppets for sasori ... perhaps Diedara with wilt away seeing Sasuske again, since that was his ultimate mission ... we'll see.

The 8 tails says that the host and beast have a treaty and agree to give each other a certain amount of chakra but the 9 tails just doesnt FEEL like discussing with Naruto since he is stubborn >_> :flaw: *cough* like how madara is too stubborn to DIE already *cough*

Hmm ive been thinking about the rasengan developed by Minato. How do you think minato got the idea to create the rasengan?

Maybe it could be possible that he saw this technique first done by his wife, Narutos mother, since she was the former kyubi. Im going to assume that she did use the kyubis power atleast once so that minato could see it. Probably the reason why Minato had that transportation seal on her was because he saw the distructive power of the kyubi bomb.He saw this technique and decided to learn to master such a skill, so that he would later teach it to kushina so that she could use it in battle. Minato came up with Rasengan. A chakra molding technique that could one day be used by Kushina his wife. Now Narutos main technique and gift of his father to control the ultimate weapon.

i think when the hacbi teachs naruto the talied mode...

A good 5 for the chapter. Im sure there is a better one.

Good 5…the reasons why:

1. kankuro crank the hell out of edo tensei – that is “inner self”- this is hard to control. then he singled out “gifts – skills, creations and performances” are what stay and can be passed on to the next generations…hats off to sasori, he indeed is good person within and he left legacies similar to that of great thinkers and inventors.
2. Naruto is getting maturity under the tutelage of bee. the balance kishi is telling us is again shown. kishi will continuously give us depth thoughts in this manga. he showed Naruto’s step by step process in mastering himself, he simply implies that Naruto’s destiny is not only laid upon his path, but a destiny he has to be worthy of till the end – the balance of his “modes of powers”.
3. “Modes of powers”: a. Naruto Mode with the “gift of rasengan”; Naruto Sage Mode with “better rasengan”; c. Naruto Rikudo-Kyuubi Mode with the ultimate gift of rasengan – all of which is passed on by jiraiya and minato. the third one is “still imperfect” and could cost Naruto’s Life. kishi…you are one shrewd ceator.

5. kabuto shows himself…and madara is very suspicious…the evil ones continue to doubt each other. And anko used as the discussion point…hmmmm something is serpentish and evilish…
6. cute Naruto “fox with nine tails transformation” and draining….very charming. Naruto puking…very much Naruto.
7. hachibi rocks in giving Naruto pointers in taming the hate in the kyuubi’s will…”TALK NO JUTSU” will again come into play….i predict.

hey…. can’t wait for the next chapter…more of war…and definitely more lessons to learn…and grow…

I see a major problem with the 8:2 ration that hachibi mentioned. When Minato was sealing the kyuubi into naruto the night naruto was born, he didn't seal the entire beast. He only sealed half of it.


Could this mean that naruto doesn't even have any of the either the white or black half of the fox's power? This would make the 8:2 ration impossible because he doesn't possess the yin (or yang) half of the tailed beast's chakra.
