itachi vs. nagato who will win?

if itachi and nagato really wanted to kill each and didn't have sickness(blindness), who will win? i'm guessing nagato, cause isn't nagato's weakness genjutsu, and itachi is strong at that. but than again there's 6 of pein...

Nagato's weakness is not genjutsu he only knew that Jiraya was weak in it so he wasn't expecting it. The greatest rule in the ninja world is know your opponent. The strength of every akatsuki member (orochimaru included) was that none of the opponents they defeated ever knew their true strength or limit of their ability, however whenever their abilities were discovered they were generally always defeated.... almost easily at that.

Now as Far as itachi vs. nagato

Itachi would use amatseru on the bodies of pain and obliterating the body means no resurection. While deva path pain might be able to push amatseru off of himself i don't think he can take out itachi alone. because then the genjutsu will definately becaome a factor. So itachi vs. the pein(pain) squad itachi wins

On the other hand the power of one who holds the rinnengan is nigh absolute and had nagato not split is abilities between different forms he would actually have been immensely more powerful (imagine being suspended in the air as your soul is sucked from your body chakra spikes are pierced through your body and your energy is drained simultaneously). All he would have to do is make sure itachi's back was to him as he did so. Therefor Itachi vs Nagato Nagato wins

He also wields the Yata no Kagami (Eight Span Mirror.) Which is absolutely incapable of being pierced or destroyed.
Yata no Kagami and Susano'o make the ultimate defense while the Totsuka no Tsurugi would be capable of killing each Path with a single hit.
Note: Itachi is capable of performing other techniques, such as Amaterasu and Genjutsus while inside of the Susano'o.

The 6 paths share the same field of vision which means if one is caught in a genjutsu all of them will also be trapped!
