what is the sage of six paths meant to mean exactly?

It says also the rinnegan gave birth to all ninja techniques.

Does this mean the 6 paths are

1.Ninjutsu
2.Taijutsu
3.Genjutsu
4.Summons
5.Blood limits
6.Seals/Sealing

Pein has 6 bodies, and each has differing characteristics and abilities

I also find it strange why pein has 6 bodies that are all somehow related to Jiraiya, this is obviously no coinsidence, but i cant quite figure out what or why, it cant be genjutsu as konoha ninja are investigating the body which looks the same, they are literal bodies and they were all once Jiraiyas opponents.

Yeah, chances are its a very high skilled puppet technique, pretty much the one we saw in shippuuden where itachi and kisame put in 30% of there chakra into hosts.

Pein does this and remains hidden, but why use all bodies of Jiraiyas past battles?...

na, bloodline limits are all about dna lol.. so a simple (or not so simple in pein's case) shapeshifting technique probably wouldn't be enough to spawn a full blown sharingan.

and in this case, he is the only one who can use them..
so his rinnegan are divided into the 6 bodies of pein.
so u can count bloodline aswell since pein is the only one with rinnegan.
As for with the uchihas, madara and sasuke are the only ones with pure uchiha blood who can take advantage of the sharingan's real powers. ( kakashi can't )

Water
Earth
Fire
Wind
Lightning
Wood
[I hope that was accurate =p]

2. Each body could be a member from a certain nation.
Land of Fire
Land of Wind
Land of Rain [Where Yahiko's body is from, I think]
Land of Rice Fields [A.K.A Land of Sound]
Land of Water
Land of Waves

Each of these places Jiraiya must have visited and encountered a ninja from all of these nations.
Now, for some reason, Nagato is using each of these defeated ninja for himself as vessels.
The only thing I don't know about is the seemingly endless amount of bodies Nagato [Yahiko] had in that room.
Could those ninja be from the prefectures of the six nations?

yes but those were hosts that were still alive, it's very unlikely all of them were people he knew Jiraiya was atleast in his wat 50's? and if it were some sort of puppet technique with corpses wat's to say he won't do that to jiraiya's body? The whole thing of the chakra clones doesn't make sense.
When the chakra clones were used during the Rescue Garaa arc, once they were killed they went back into there true forms, two Sand ninja chunnin [instead of staying in the form of Itachi and Kisame]
But when Jiraiya killed that one body [Or the first three bodies, for that matter] they all stayed the same and didn't change in appearance.
If they would have been chakra clones the jutsu would have been dispelled when they were killed, but obviously it didn't, so they obviously aren't.

wood isn't an element,
its a bloodline limit that combines 2 elements into a new one, so you can't count wood as a main element. Earth and water combined = wood.
if so, you should count haku's frost element aswell, water+wind that is if im right.

the real elements are:
fire
wind
water
earth
lightning

and the rinnegan supposed to control all 5 elements anyways, so the sage of six paths has nothing to do with the elements i guess.
