He probably got ass-cancer, so he's trying to replace the problems with smoking, then comes alcohol, drugs and the last, but not least - suicide.
All is forgiven.
lol why u want to give up smoking?
i think smoking is really cool thing and i don't believe that it causes death or caner and even if it dose i wouldn't stop smoking

smoke if you want as long as you don't smoke around people who don't want to inhale your cigarette smoke.
I don't some, though I have had a couple cigars and i did kinda enjoy it though after a while it make my mouth feel numb 0_0
if you really want to quit, do it slowly and use help. the best way if you have started smoking is to slowly ween yourself off of them that way you won't be a cranky jerk towards people.

Here is my opinion:
Okay,we all know that smoking is not that good for your health(hurts seriosly the lungs),but on the other hand,is a good way to...relax or think.Personally,I think the most peaple started smoking and they will continue to start this,because they want to look cool and stuff.
But I smoke because od some kind of obssesion I have.The most of the heavily smokers have an obssesion with the tobacco,and so they cannot stop,or they can,but they cannot stop thinking of it.If you want to smoke smoke for yourself and not for any other.Also respect the non-smoking opinion,not to smoke in front of peaple that they do not like smoking(like Ragnaroc said).
I do not smoke that much.Let's say 7-16,17 and not everyday.I prefer other things.

yeah you are right.
for example I smoke 10-15 everyday but I don't smoke when I am with My Girlfriend because She doesn't like the smell and smoke of the cigarette!
