This chapter was by far one of the greatest chapters in Naruto history. No...in MANGA history perhaps. There was such detail overflowing throughout the chapter, and it was all sugarcoated in the right amount of fanservice and epicness to top it off.
Page 3 is the sh!t. O_O
Firstly, the Joint Shinobi Alliance headbands look awesome. I especially love how they've divided their ranks among 9 divisions. Truly, this is an amazingly organized shinobi force. Gaara being the Commander General was quite interesting, and I also found it interesting that Shikamaru was his Proxy. Poor Gai, getting stuck with Kakashi, lol. For some reason, I have a feeling that Darui will be a very popular character in the future. Perhaps his skills will prove to be more overwhelming than we had originally anticipated since his fight at the Kage Summit. Not only did this chapter give everyone a new look (more formal, militaristic attire), but it also conveyed how some of our favorite characters have matured. By the way, I've got to say, Shino looks absolutely epic (I'm not a big Shino fan, but there's something about a hood and the flak jacket that makes for an epic outfit). Naruto's training looks quite interesting. I'm actually glad that he's receiving formal Jinchurikki training from a master (Killer Bee) and in time, we can see Naruto being the Shinobi Alliance's trump card. I can see it now @_@ xd
Kabuto was incredible. I never would have imagined him to be the calculating mastermind he is now, but enough about him. The real stars of the third sequence were the Edo Tensei shinobi. Former Akatsuki members...yays! ^_^ The former jinchuriki was a complete mindf*ck! Masashi Kishimoto is a genius. I didn't expect us to see most of the former hosts in action but Kishimoto managed it, and they will truly make for epic fights. Han, Utakata, Yugito, Fu, Yagura, and Roshi...what more can you ask for. I can't wait to see Han, Yagura, and Roshi in battle!!! It then raises the question: who will fight them? We'll have to wait to find out, I suppose O_O. Next, we have former Kages. I'm not sure if Kabuto only revived 3, but something tells me he may have revived a couple or so more. However, if there were only 3 for him to revive, I'm perfectly fine with that. I'd like to see Gaara's father's reaction to Gaara being his successor. And though it may seem a little cliche, I sense a fight between A and the Third Raikage. The mummy guy next to the Third Raikage doesn't seem to be anyone we're aware of, but seeing as how we have at least 1 former kage from each village except the Hidden Stone Village, I'm inclined to believe that the mummy guy is a former Tsuchikage (the 1st perhaps...horrible Bikochu Filler arc memories ~_~). Need I say anything about the next group of shinobi. I have a feeling Zabuza and Haku will go down quickly, simply because everyone has improved so much that the two seem to be second-rate now. The same goes for Kimmimaro, although I believe his fight will be a bit more interesting and he will last longer. *shrugs* That's just my opinion O_O Chiyo looks a bit creepy. Hanzou is going to be a pain for the Shinobi Alliance, which makes me very excited! The inclusion of Asuma is almost surely meant for a reunion with Shikamaru, and Hizashi's revival is probably meant for Neji. Likewise, Dan and Tsunade are fated to meet. With all the power on Madara's side, it seems as though no one can stop him...but as we know, good always prevails.
And poor Yamato...xd
Final Note: This chapter was amazing. 5 out of 5. Naruto has really taken a step up, and it has no where else to go but up. I can't even remember the last "crappy" Naruto chapter. So, overall, I see a very bright future for the 4th Great Ninja War. Bravo Kishimoto. Bravo!
