[Discussion] naruto vs sasuke FINAL COUNTDOWN

so naruto finally meets sasuke and passes out from hyperventilation! but not before revealing that they would both die at the conclusion of their next encounter!

do you think this is because sasuke has somehow managed to power up immensely with no training (to be able to rival nine tail chakras and force a draw???) or because naruto is going to suicide upon killing him??? or because... naruto and sasuke are actually the same person!!!

naruto states that at his current level, he would not be able to kill sasuke. why would a naruto operating at full strength not have the ability to finish a 1% sasuke with depleted chakra pools (this is assuming tobi/zetsu do not cheat!)

it would seem naruto's abilities are terribly exaggerated if the fox does nothing more than level the playing field for him. is naruto just a non-factor blessed with good genes?

This person is that person Naruto is actually Nagato.

Minato is Madara will be next....

Naruto couldnt defeat Sasuke because he cant compete against the Sharingan which disables the Kyuubi and also he cant fight Genjutsu.

He had the fox when a Itachi clone with like 40% power put him in a Genjutsu and he got pwnd until Sakura and old lady saved him.

Controlling the fox doesnt mean auto-genjutsu break as the Kyuubi is affected by the EMS and his chakra could be locked or something by Sasuke etc.

And SIX PATH OF PAIN...eh....

If you mean the SOSP then no he isnt Naruto used the Bijuu Cloak which because of the level of chakra i.e. near to Juubi it gave him the look of the SOSP thats my theory.

It doesnt mean the SOSP is with him.

and Pein is 7 paths. 6 paths and the 7th is Nagato

agreed, I think that at the point that naruto last met sasuke......he was not yet in control of therefore he did not belive that he was on the same level as Sasuke...

The fact Naruto could see that he couldn't beat him yet is somewhat strange in and of itself. I mean it's one thing that the Giant Sage Toad can see the future, but Naruto...idk. Plus I'm pretty sure Naruto is wrong because he won't die fighting Sasuke, heck Sasuke may not even die, but maybe he'll finally come to his stupid senses (likely to do with whatever power Itachi gave Naruto).

I think it would be hilarious (yet impossible) if when Naruto and Sasuke meet next that Itachi's power senses Sasuke is trying to destroy the village and a hologram of him appears and says Sasuke if you determined to destroy the Leaf I have no choice, but to strike my eyes blind. Sasuke thinks its a genjutsu bluff attacks once more and goes blind in both eyes, ending his eternal mangekyou sharingan.

Why do you all say Naruto "can't" fall into genjutsu? We haven't seen anything stating or even implying that fact. Plus we must remember that the Tsukyomi is much more powerful than a normal genjutsu so even if Naruto somehow built up a genjutsu block the Tsukyomi is a whole other level.

Tsukuyomi requires eye contact to be performed. When executed, the jutsu traps the target in an illusion that is completely controlled by the user.

Itachi's Tsukuyomi was very powerfull but Sasukes was somewhat weak.
Tho Sasuke now has EMS, he could have perfected his MS jutsus.

But like we saw before, it's possible to break out of the Tsukuyomi(Sasuke vs Itachi fight). If narutos willpower is strong enough he could break from the illusion.
I mean, after all it's just an illusion.

Killerbee was able to work with the 8 Tails to break Sasuke's Tsukuyomi. Which is probably why everyone assumes Naruto will be able to do this without full control over his bijuu. He has full access to the chakra but is it enough to "disturb" his chakra to break free. That question still doesn't have a 100% answer. He is not working with the bijuu just using chakra from it. But Bee may have been able to do it just due to his full control and Naruto still has to work that part out.
