Therefore, the users can agree with me. And I said many things in my second post, care to elaborate further? And if you can read, which I'm sure you can, my first post was a question. So yeah, I'm glad you have the mental capacity to see that my first post was a question, second post was a response to sato's and my thoughts on the manga thus far, and my third correcting you since you obviously can't tell the difference between 10,000 and "ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND". So you know, I guess you can say that was the only "interesting comment" of mine. AND OMG!!!! WE ARE STARTING A NEW PAGE, I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!

Also. it's quite obvious kabuto is playing madara..... Do you honestly think he is stupid enough to leave bodies behind and not know that he is being followed by anko and co. Kabuto just gave the location of madaras hideout to the allied forces. Remember kabuto is on par with kakashi, a genius none the less. He knows exactly how to play the game. Kabuto wants revenge for the death of oro. Do you not remember him letting sakura and them free saying, "if we let you live you can take care of akatsuki for us". Why would he give naruto the book of all the akatsuki members? He wants sasuke and he made that clear, do you really think madara is going to give up sasuke? They are both playing eachother. Madara is not a dumb retard and knows exactly what is going on, he knows that kabuto knows his weakness and is waiting for the opportune time to strike.
this is the most interesting part that i would have wanted you to elaborate on.

so kabuto wants sasuke to be his host also (just like oro wanted), or he just wants to whip sasuke's ass red because of what he did defending himself against oro?
surely, madara does not believe that either one was really kabuto's intention.
it can't be determined this early, so madara is willing to play along. kabuto is such a wild variable that he needed to account for his existence in his grand scheme of things. surely, he can't ignore him anymore.
what is surprising is madara showed him his armory and where he gets the power of his army. and he is even willing to give kabuto one zetsu clone soldier. (speaking of which, this sounds more like star wars again!)
we don't know if madara already knows kabuto will fail so he won't get his zetsu toy.
i just can't figure out what is the wisdom of showing kabuto his stuff.
however, madara has not shown his collection of sharingans -- this is his trump card, his fail safe 'reboot' mechanism. just in case, kabuto succeeds also in killing him, like konan and itachi did previously.
anyway, pls proceed about your interesting theory about the missing link between madara and hashirama.
given: madara could already use izanagi, so he already has hashirama's dna in his body.
interesting questions:
(1) what could that missing link be between hashirama and madara?
(2) could the missing link be the 'thing' on kabuto's 6th coffin?
(3) if madara, hashirama, and nagato were the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd out of the six paths (hmmm, this is beginning to sound like voldemort's horcruces in harry potter!), then who makes up the fourth, fifth, and sixth? surely, we could put naruto and sasuke there, but who/what is the sixth?

Well we know madara wants to revive the juubi. In addition, we know that the sage of the 6 paths was the only person who can host such a creature. Hints and hints have been dropped that madara is a former "shell" (keyword: shell) of himself. So, lets say if he were to revive the juubi, do you honestly think his current state could handle such a power? Why would he he need nagato to save his revival technique for himself? Remember, madara said that the sage had 2 sons. One who inherited the eyes and power (uchiha) and the other who inherited the mind and body (senjuu). Why does madara need many sharingans and especially sasuke? What I am saying or believe, is that madara is gathering the ingredients to reincarnate himself as the sage of 6 paths. The perfect "body". We know that the first was able to control the tailed beasts at his whim and if madara already has some of shodais power, why does he need a lifeless body of the first hokage? It's because he inherited the mind and spirit of the original sage. Madara has the rinnegan, i think he needs a strong sharingan (probably why he is keeping sasuke), he has most of the tailed beasts, and he has shodais body who was a sage. Add all these together and what do you get? A perfect powerful body/being/a reincarnation of the original sage. Perhaps yamato is the sixth link since he can use his wood element to control somewhat the tailed beasts. I might be missing something here so fill in any info that I may have missed.

OneKingOwns and Melo, you guys are making some interesting talks and points as usual. I think that the statue that Madara uses is the body that is going to be used as the 7th path. Its seems that its a possible container to hold all the tailed beast. I was wondering if Madara was going to perform a jutsu or at least have Nagato revive this statue and then transfer Madara to it. Currently I can't see how Madara can housed all this power as OneKing states. And like Melo, I am wondering who the 4th, 5th, and 6th paths are going to be. If Madara already have the Shodai's DNA, what is the reason for wanting Naruto other than for the Demon Fox. As for Sasuke, we can say that he want this EMS to put in one of his eye sockets. Remember that he intends to cast a big genjutsu over the whole ninja world.

Kabuto said to the Tsuchikage that they can take there time because they can. So Kabuto being confident against the Tsuchikage, Kabuto may have a plan being so overconfident knowing he would clash wish a kage and the two jinchuuruki.

the thesis questions:
(1) could nagato's specialty that makes him the 3rd path be his bodily capacity to link to the 'spirit statue' and not (merely) his having the rin'negan -- that is, specially if his eyes were not his to begin with, since he is an uzumaki, a senju?
(2) how did nagato 'get' the rin'negan?

we don't know what really happened at that time the child nagato defended yahiko. but given that madara made the claim that the rin'negan was his to begin with, and the fact that nagato was an uzumaki/senju and not an uchiha, i find the event where we first see the rin'negan in nagato very mysterious.
nagato himself testified that it was the pain (of the possibility and the actuality) of losing yahiko that made him went 'to the dark'. nagato mentioned two 'pains' in his life that brought about his transformation. 1st was his losing his family, and 2nd was yahiko's death. what is interesting here is the common description that connects these events.
nagato said he blacked out.
remember the scene when jiraiya saw for the first time nagato's eyes. nagato said when he 'woke up' it appeared to him that he had already killed a grown up shinobi, at the same time we see him that he had the rin'negan. we did not get what yahiko had to say about what happened. was he also knocked unconscious by the attack of the shinobi? so who is a living witness to the event? we are in the dark here.
indeed, this 'blacking out event' was curious. and recently, konan just called someone 'the darkness'.

obviously, nagato's hate was madara's entry point, it awakened the dark and powerful beast within nagato. and that is how madara was able to control nagato. yes, probably the same way he was able to control the 3rd mizukage and which is something i think we also have seen when sasuke transformed into the 'dark fearful chakra beast' that he was during his attack at the kage's meeting. prior to this sasuke was reluctant to shed innocent blood, but at that moment, he massacred a horde of samurais. we know madara 'pushed' him into the darkness, the 'darkness' that is his realm.
having said this, i think it is interesting to discuss this madara=darkness motif.

(1) when madara 'died' from itachi's amaterasu that was planted as a fail safe in sasuke's eyes, madara went to the 'darkness' as he removed his mask, and then did an izanagi -- his own fail safe mechanism, a secret he was not willing to tell anyone that is alive; and (2) madara's hidden face was pitch black darkness. (yes, like the dark side of the moon, it seems it should never see the light of day.)
my apologies if I digressed. i just thought i had to show you that interesting background motif between madara and that black out/darkness motif, as it linked to back to nagato and the rin'negan. so far we've seen a scenario that would explain how madara could have the claim that the rin'negan was his in the first place.
Nagato's special powers sans and with the Rin'negan
if the rin'negan was not genetically nagato's, or was born in him (since he was an uzumaki/senju, he shouldn't have had the eye of the rikkoudo), then his power should reside in his body.
i think it is (1) his ability to link with the spirit statue, and how he could harness its power for his own use, and (2) his bodily ability to adapt well to the rin'negan. it tells us (and madara, who used him as a test case) that resurrecting the rikkoudo sennin is indeed possible, reuniting the six paths that made up the rikkoudo sennin's reign is attainable; and that he could tap the bijuus' powers from that statue that houses them through nagato's body/dna.
moreover, we've seen nagato 'create' some of the things that the rikkoudo sennin was said to have created. and nagato was doing this without the izanagi. that's why when madara went to get the 'rin'negan' he did not just gouge it out from nagato, he took his whole body. nagato's body is an ideal vessel for the rin'negan. that makes him the 3rd path.
so in nagato we could see what more madara could do. now madara with hashirama and nagato's bodies/DNAs, and then his own Eternal Mangekyou Sharin'negan, surely something dark --and fearfully evil-- this way comes.

so we are tempted to ask:where did madara get the rin'negan? did he come up with a way to do some alchemy to create the rin'negan? was it a combination of a main line byakugan and his EMS? or was it also an 'izanagi creation' (since at the time of the 3rd ninja world war, madara must have hashirama's already)? but the answers to these questions, i leave it up to you guys, as well. And as far as Gedo Mazo goes, is the technique/summon madaras own? or only tied to the rinnegan/nagato? If you look at the panel before, page #7 you see konan surpised by the summon and then she says "no dont". So question is, did she know what nagato had summoned and what he was planning to do? If so, then that means she obviously had seen Gedo Mazo before the hanzo/danzo confrontation or am I over speculating and going off on a tangent.

A fairly interesting chapter overall, I’m glad Kishi opted to move ahead full steam with the current arc and get straight to the action we want to see.
I previously had the notion that all of Kabuto’s undead summons would be mindless zombies, but Deidara demonstrated this chapter that the summons still have their abilities (although likely not as powerful as the original) as well as their personalities intact.
Essentially, this means we might get to see all the dead Akatsuki members again – I’m real interested in what undead Itachi and Nagato would be like.
Looks like Tsuchikage is coming to aid Naruto and the others despite his bad back.
Sadly, we won’t be seeing a Gaara vs Deidara rematch – although it’s out of character for the current Gaara, I still think deep inside he wants some payback against Deidara for putting his friends and his villagers’ lives at risk when he attacked Suna.
Not that I don’t want to see Tsuchikage in action, being the oldest of the current kages I think he has the most battle experience and jutsu repertoire to make any opponent rethink their strategy.
We saw a small glimpse of what the Tsuchikage can do during Sasuke’s attack on the kage summit, and I think his gravity powers have a lot of us interested as there is nothing like it in the Naruverse thus far.
The ability to fly without any kind of mount or support is a powerful one, and Tsuchikage may have a monopoly on it since we haven’t seen it used by any shinobi before (Gaara’s floating sand is kind of like a mount), even other shinobi from Tsuchigakure.
I don’t think Deidara has a chance in this battle, heck it might have been the Tsuchikage who taught him most of his abilities.
The best we can hope for is a little more information being revealed about Deidara’s history with his home village.
Kabuto must have been really busy ever since Orochimaru got pwned. Not only did he manage to upgrade the Edo Tensei, but also clone a Godzilla-sized Manda clone as well.
This is one kid Kakashi probably wished he would have killed during their first encounter because he’s got as much h4x0rz potential as Madara.
I also liked the fact that Kabuto decided to give his undead summons more autonomy than Orochimaru did.
By giving them semi-free will, the zombie Akatsuki can be more effective by fighting more like their living counterpart.
However, I don’t know if Kabuto would want to grant the same privileges to undead summons of Itachi or Nagato though.
I’m not sure how Kabuto is planning on beating Naruto and Killer Bee, not to mention bypassing the Konoha nin protecting them.
So far Kabuto hasn’t really shown any upgraded fighting powers personally to make us think he has any chance against two Jinchuuriki, so he’ll definitely need to rely on tricks and pull out a heavy hitter like Pein or Itachi to have any chance. But then again, his intention may not be to fight at all.
It’s suspicious that someone as egomaniacal as him would aid Madara in any way unless it was for his own benefit.
And I don’t think Kabuto would willingly risk his life fighting against Naruto and the others unless there was someone/something he needed to acquire here.
Kabuto did mention that he wanted to experiment on Yamato, so maybe his focus is neither Naruto nor KB. Why do I get the feeling that whatever it is, Kabuto is going to win this fight?

Lastly, what the F is with that transvestite armadillo? Why did it get so much attention this chapter? Gives me bad flashbacks of that transvestite toad they had in the Shippuuden anime. To top it off this time, Kishi actually opted to show the amadillo’s junk. xd

The question is, why did he need to implant the rinnegan on nagato when he owns it on the first place.

DeatheKnight, that is a good question. If we are right about Madara's comment when he was over the dead body of Nagato " Your red hair have turned white as snow " inferring that Nagato was related to the Uzamaki Clan, then Madara may have implanted the eyes into Nagato so that he can develop them. This will free Madara to do other more important things. With this in mind, he could have placed a Zutsu clone to watch and record all the actions of Nagato and his group.

Now I know why he wanted the DNA of the Shodai. By using the Shoadai's DNA, you would be able to housed that Rin-negan without it being a chakra drinker leaving him with plenty to be used for other jutsus.

Hey guys! What's up?
As kabuto says in the last page, he did a judgemental call, as he saw that he was fighting an impossible fight, as i believe he was not expecting the Tsuchikage when he left.
But then again, this could be his aim from the beginning and that was an excuse he told madara, and all he wanted was to mess around with Yamato's cells O.O
