Back then Tsunade send some reinformences. - team Kakashi and team Gai.
So to delay them Akatsuki used a jutsu to make 2 sand ninjas into Itachi and Kisame as they took some of their chacra.
So I think this was a Black Zetsu's jutsu.
As we know white Zetsu has the ability to make perfect copys of smo else using his clones.
So what if black zetsu is a shape shifter. He could change his look into smo else. And that's how he managed to change the look of the 2 sand shinobi into Itachi and Kisame as using their chacra. And not only that his "clones" were able to do Itachi and Kisame's jutsus so I think Black Zetsu is realy unic

Maybe that are his abilities but ... I remember when pain and sasori started fighting over that thing...sasori said that it was his 2 men who were used and pain said that thanks to his shape shifting technique they became full akatsuki members

Pain didn't actualy said abouthis shape shifting jutsu. And as far as we know Pain cant do this kinda jutsu. Only Zetsu
And i dont remember Pain talking about a shape shifting jutsu...

it was a good theory though. but it still leaves the question of how they both were able to use itachi's and kisame's jutsus let alone the sharingan??

you're right...in manga it was already established that black zetsu's abilities are best...one is what you've mentioned....shapeshifting....he used it to kisame and samehada...
