2nd-You think that Susansoo cant protect the user from poison but that is only true if Susansoo was a physical object but its made of chackra and it uses spiritual items so things migh be differant.

I think Itachi would win, he is a lot faster than Sasori, even though Itachi's genjutsu wouldn't work on Sasori, Itachi is great at using weapons, and he could use his fireball jutsu, heck, that thing is HUGE and if it came down to it he could use Amaterasu as a kind of shield against the water attacks and the puppets and then he could still attack from within the circle of the black fire.. Sasori on the other hand IF he got a scratch on Itachi then he might end up dying and killing Itachi with the poison later on.. I still think that Itachi would win, he just has better odds against Sasori.. and a lot of other people..

Amaterasu wouldn't do much against Sasori's puppets because Amaterasu burns so slow. All it would do is send burning puppets at Itachi lol. And those Iron Sand ube and drill things would crush Itachi and Susanoo.

actually having thoughts and vision alone, is much more proof to tsukoyomi affecting him than what other people say as proof against it xd
so i'd say i'm 90% sure tsukoyomi would affect him... only the anime or a databook could tell me otherwise xd

There are still doubts whethet Tsukoyomi can affect Sasoro or not...SO just don't take it for granted....

Chiyo did not find out all his secrets...She knew many well in advance....Also she was an expert puppet master...Itachi being a genius doesn't mean that he can do anything......xd...

Haha U forgot the final part...Chiyo saying that he died willingly....This is a classical case of biased opinion (debating)....

First of all, to your first comment about bypassing the shield with poisen, Itachi could easily dodge his poison attacks/counter poisen needles with Susano'o-almost all of Sasori's poison attacks have to hit the target with something tangable to kill them.

Second of all, to your second comment about Chiyo not finding out all of his secrets, this is completely incorrect. The only thing she knew about were his fighting techiniques inside of Hiruko. She had no idea that he had turned himself into a puppet/could use performance of 100 puppets/had the kazekage (it was rumored he had the puppet, so she wasn't as surprised with that one.) Itachi could easily amaterasu/susano'o the 100 puppets, as sakura dodged them easily, and the kazekage wouldn't be able to touch itachi inside of susano'o with the mirror.

Lastly, no I did not forget the final part because it wasn't necessary. READ the chapter that I put in the links and you can CLEARLY see Sasori getting stabbed by Chiyo as he is still trying to kill sakura. When Chiyo says he died willingly she means that he was okay with dying because he finally realized that there were people who loved him all along...when he died, Chiyo blind-sighted him-he didn't see it coming and he didn't let them win.

Why is this thread s long. Itachi doesn't have to use Susano. He is the master of fire and Sasori and his puppets are wooden. Amaterasu burns everything. Sasori has never been a speed demon he can't stop or avoid the black fire game over. If that wont finish him Itachi could seal him and all his puppets.

P.S. Poison mist can't get into a full Susano let alone a Susano with yata's mirror. Itachi was the greatest shinobi in the akatsuki rivaled to only Pain. Which I think even he could defeat.

Itachi EMS I think even god would have feared.

At the risk of sounding like a fanboy, I really think there are only a couple ninjas who could take out Itachi at full strength. Sasori is not one of them.

+ Jutsu > strong fire, genjutsu (will not work), a lot of ninjutsu, and good tai jutsu
+ MS > Susano (completed with the sealing sword), amaterasu
+ Movement > strong and realy fast
+ Tactics > itachi is realy smart, and can think up good tactics
+ Weapons > he can handle them realy good
- Eyes > he's a bit blind, he hasn't full sight anymore

wats the deal with ametarasu burning sasoris puppets.
Remember ametarasu burn every thing but like fire it takes time to burn..
and with puppets feeling no pain it will be an advantage as the burning puppets will still fight with ametarasu flames on them making them more lethal.

Excellent point. They just over estimate Itachi. I mean really.. Only rivaled by pain? Uh all the sannins, and yes even oro can take him. All the kages. Konan.. Possibly Killer Bee. Possibly Kakashi( only because he has improved).

I think Kakashi mite be able to send susanoo and amaretsu into a different realm
