Well when you are making a top 10 list of Ninjas, then maybe stick with the living ones?, you cant really compare dead ninjas with living, its unfair to be honest.

I cant really make a list myself at the moment, but i know that Naruto and Sasuke is in top 5 at least.

Honestly, there are more than just 10. You can't really tell who is better than who, everyone has their own advantages and disadvantages.

And I agree with GaaratheFifth. Itachi's story is still incomplete.

eyesofthekyuubi44, Pain was the leader of Akatsuki because he was a founder of Akatsuki. Although Pain was the leader, Madara was the one giving orders. The group was created before any of the Akatsuki members joined (excluding Konan and Madara). The leader wasn't chosen because he was the strongest. If you are to follow the logic of what the characters say is true then Itachi is indeed capable of killing Madara or say as Madara says. Refer to Chapter 397 Page 10. Madara: "Fortunately, I managed to keep a few secrets even from him... If I hadn't, I'd be dead right now." and Chapter 404 Page 16, "With Itachi dead, there's no one else troubling me. So much for 'I won't touch Konoha.'". As far as Jiraiya goes, he's definitely strong. Even stronger than Pain. He wouldn't have had much trouble if he knew Pain's secret just as Naruto did when he fought him. This is confirmed by Pain himself after he fought Jiraiya.

There's really no way to compare. We saw Konohamaru put up a fight against one of Pain's body.

Nice list, even though there would be a few i would have taken of the list and put somewhere else and so on. But alot of it i agree on, except Juugo, he doesnt deserve beeing on that list, he just a giant overpowered Juugo :b

Wrong.

Pain is strong but he has a huge weakness.

Jiraiya went up against Rinnegan without knowing any of its secrets. All he knew was Nagato had a Rinnegan and he was able to use all 6 chakra types. He didn't know Nagato was controlling bodies. Nagato along with Konan and Yahiko were taught a lot of Jiraiya's techniques in the 3 years he spent with them, hence, Nagato was aware of most of Jiraiya's abilities and vice versa (he used oil vs. Konan so her papers wouldn't fold). He managed to take down 3 bodies of Pain without knowing what they were capable of. He could've escaped but he stayed in order to learn the truth about Pain. Pain was later defeated in Konoha because of the information Jiraiya left behind as well as the information Kakashi and the others gathered on him. To take down 3 bodies without having any information on Pain was remarkable.

Just because he beat Jiraiya doesn't mean he's stronger than him. Jiraiya was in his own league as was Pain. Jiraiya died vs. Pain but he played a huge role in defeating him.
