I don't care if you already did it. Once again my goal is to make you understand how to use the ability to it's fullest. Which, right now, you haven't really said that. The actual linked vision not only lets you see through them, but it also gives you a tracking boost for being able to see them by an additional x0.5. Which with multiple bodies, soon adds up.

Summons that are tied to the animal path are the only summons that the animal path can summon. Cannon and custom contracts are not linked to it. The animal path is only really relevant in the paths of pein bio unless you really wanna use the cannon animal path summons. The best thing about it is it allows you to create unique summons for the pathway without needing a custom contract. If you wanna see an example, let me know.

Summoning rashenmon is ninjutsu, it's not linked to the animal path.

You can summon ladybugs, if you make a body a medium for the animal path, it can't summon them.
Understood. That's my bad. It has been a while since I have done in depth canon training. I will be more thorough.

Roger that. I understand what you are saying. What the animal path can summon has to directly link/co-relate to the path itself, not outside of it. Which "custom" summons could indeed be summoned by it but I would have to submit that separately for/as a body for the animal path itself. It cannot summon actual custom animal contracts or things outside of the realm of the path. Got it.

Also roger the .5x tracking per body/path. That's sick. I didn't know that. I can see how that can add up quick.

Question while I am ahead of the game: If I gain a body or two or several for a path but can only ever have two active, what happens to a body when I deactivate it and activate a new one? Does it just poof? Am I locked into the bodies I choose to use in a match? How does that work? If I have no bodies available and I am the only vessel am I able to switch paths? When I gain bodies do I summon them into battle or are they always with me? Depending on the answer, can they be "de-summoned"?

You are either having the paths in you on in the host vessel. If it's through a host you don't need to activate the path. It's already active within them but your real body can't use it while that vessel is using it.
If you have no vessel using it, your main body can use it.
If you have a vessel they are always with you in a battle arena fight, in the NW that's up to you.
They aren't like a summoning contract, you can't desummon them

Any questions about the rinnegan summons? They are all straight forwards. If not lets go onto the next path of your choice.

Perfect explanation. Love it. Only question is, if I have six vessels out, as well as myself being primary, that means I have six mfs with me frfr when I pull up? That's brazy. Okay.

No questions about the summons. Very 09-ish but seem fun regardless. I'll probably cook up some stuff more suited for me.

Let us do the outer path next. Get that core ability out of the way.

Problem is they can only use their chosen path. Unless they are edos that is. But it's a lot to manage in a skillful way tbh.

Go on then, tell me what the outer path is? How it works? How it works in our RP?

Okay so boom. The Outer Path is essentially what makes the Paths of Pain bodies if I am not mistaken. This would make me, the primary body, the sole wielder of this path. This is what allows the primary body to use chakra rods to give bodies life and what the other six paths "come to life" through even though they aren't actually alive, unlike Edo Tensei. The difference being is that the outer path gives you literal dead bodies that you can control and operate like normal ones but everything they do, stems from the primary body and user of the Outer Path. They have no personality, no will, no thoughts, they are husks at your disposal and you control them the way you see fit. They cannot break out, they are dead. They're nothing but a lifeless vessel. Whereas Edo Tensei, in short, the person you brought to life is still that person. They maintain their personally, most of their memory up until time of death, their techniques, etc. They are simply risen from the dead as themselves, not just as a body to use like the Outer Path.

I don't know how it works in the RP, to be honest but I imagine it cannot be too far off from my explanation of how it works in the show. You use this path to gain your bodies or perhaps even a more advanced vessel like another RPer. I want to say that this also gives you access to the Gedo Statue and chakra chains.

Questions:

Are chakra rods an official technique or can I manifest them when I see fit/make techniques centered around them?

Can I manifest chakra chains from my hand(s) like Obito did or does it come exclusively from the Gedo Statue itself? Because I know it can do it.

If I gain an RPers bio for a vessel, do they come with the path I chose them to have as well as their current abilities? Can I swap them out at will if I want/gain a new one? Do I need to know kinjutsu?

Do I use this ( Gedō: Pein Rikudō ) - Outer Path: Six Paths of Pain technique to get bodies? How do I use it? Does a bio permanently die when I use it?

Do I use this ( Gedō: Pein Rikudō ) - Outer Path: Six Paths of Pain technique to get bodies? How do I use it? Does a bio permanently die when I use it?

( Gedō: Pein Rikudō ) - Outer Path: Six Paths of Pain
Type: Supplementary
Rank: N/A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 150 per Vessel ( -15 per body )
Damage: N/A
Description: An Outer Path jutsu that allows a Rinnegan user to control up to six bodies as though they are their own. The user embeds one or more black receivers into a body, allowing them to channel their chakra into it from great distances. Once their chakra enters the body, they are given complete control of it, allowing them to decide all of its actions, its use of jutsu, and even speak through it. This allows the user to reanimate deceased ninja as vessels to channel his Paths through. As a representation of this control, the controlled bodies' eyes take on the same appearance as the user's. And when multiple bodies are controlled together the user is able to see through all of their eyes and ergo, gain up to six more separate fields of vision at the same time. With this shared vision, the user can coordinate their attacks and provide defenses for their blind spots. For this reason, the Six Paths of Pain are strongest when used together; however, this jutsu does have a drawback. If the caster of this jutsu is interrupted in any way while transmitting chakra to the bodies, then all of the bodies will be rendered immobile.

In order to obtain a regular Path vessel, you must defeat their bio and resurrect it via use of this technique. This also requires that death be enabled if used in the Ninja World. In order to obtain an Edo Vessel, one must have permission to use Kinjutsu as well as have death enabled. Vessels obtained in this manner retain access to their Ninjutsu and abilities as well as gaining a Rinnegan Path power. Paths obtained in this manner must be defeated and cannot be generic Paths obtained via Kumi.
Note: Reincarnated Paths can't use their intrinsic abilities and their Path abilities in the same turn and must follow the restrictions of Edo Tensei summonings to be deemed valid. Bijuu, Karma markings and similar abilities cannot be retained via reanimation.
Note: Six Paths of Pain bios have no chakra upkeep.

So you are on the right tracks with how it works. Basically you just use their body as a host/medium for one of the six paths. When you do this, they can only use that pathway. They gain the rinnegan and linked vision with you. With this your tracking goes up by 0.5x with each one.

1. The chakra rods aren't a technique. They are freeform and come with freeform damage.

2. You can use the chains but need to have completed fuuin to do so, which we will go over more in their techniques.

3. If you kill a person and make them a path, for example animal path, they can only use the animal path and their summons. This is different if you use edo tensei. An edo tensei can use all it's original abilities along with the path. The outer path reduces edo's breakout chance by an additional 20% btw making it a fantastic way to keep a loyal edo and gain power.

4. The body is just a medium for you to project your power. You can swap that medium any time you want.

5. In the rp, you can just put it in your backstory that you found the bodies or kill npcs in the nw and get them that way. Make your own story. Once you do, use the above technique.

6. No they don't permanently die. I strongly advise you skin the edo to match your bio to avoid continuity issues. Perma dead isn't in the nw unless both parties agree.

Got it! So if I use Edo Tensei to get a path, they would become my path WITH their powers however with a chance of breakout (but breakout chance decreased due to outer path upon them) but if I just get a random body/choose not to do it through Edo Tensei, they will just be a regular path with only the path abilities and no chance of breakout since its just a dead body. Because their ass is mine. Roger that.

All of that is understood. Beautifully explained. Thank you for answering my questions thoroughly in a way I can clearly understand them. I am ready for the next steps.

( Gedō ) - Outer Path
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: The Outer Path has control over Life and Death. Its the user himself who embodies the Outer Path and wields its abilities. However, he cannot use them directly but only through the King of Hell. Known as the Seventh Path, this path is required to use the (Gedō: Rinne Tensei no Jutsu) Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique, the technique through which the user releases the soul of those deceased into their bodies, using his regenerative abilities to revive them and bringing them back to life.
Note: Can only be used by Rinnegan biographies with access to the Six Paths Ability.
Note: Cannot be used in the Ninja World.

So this is the path you are learning. You can activate them passively after a month. You can have 2 active at a time. Make sure when you activate them, even though it's passive, you don't do it at the same time as another technique.

Before we do many techniques to do with this, this technique is next:

( Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Gedo Mazo ) - Summoning Technique: Demonic Statue of the Outer Path
Type: Supplementary / Offensive / Defensive
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 120 ( -20 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: The Demonic Statue of the Outer Path is the husk of the Ten Tailed Beast, separated from it's massive chakra pool spread in the Nine Tailed Beasts. A giant earthen colored entity with a decayed appearance, the Gedo Mazo has several spike-like protrusions on it's back, towering over the tailed beasts. It has nine eyes, one of which gains a light blue iris and pupil each time a tailed beasts is sealed within it. Due to it's size and physical power, it can withstand up to S rank jutsu completely, taking no damage at all. It can also reduce 80 damage from attacks, taking little damage from Forbidden Techniques. The Demonic Statue is able to emit phantom dragons formed out of absorption chakra from its mouth, which are capable of instantly extracting the chakra of anyone they touch. The Demonic Statue is also capable of emitting chakra chains from its mouth. The chains have a cursed seal that suppresses the power of tailed beasts. In addition to this, the Gedo can deliver physical blows of S ranked power.
Note: Only Madara, Sasuke, Obito, Nagato and Hagoromo can summon the Gedo Mazo.
Note: If the Gedo is summoned, only Animal Path summonings can be summoned. If the user has used a summoning from a contract, the Gedo cannot be summoned.
Note: Once per turn, the Statue can create black chakra receivers that either extend 5 meters from it's body, or can be fired up to mid range. Counts as one of the user's three jutsu per turn.

Okay so boom. I'll tell you everything I know in canon. Like it states in the first line, it is the husk/shell of the ten tails and somehow still sentient. Have no idea how. It is absolutely huge, it can emit chakra chains that are capable of capturing tailed beasts which seems like it was made for but that's just its inherent ability as all the tailed beasts technically derived from it since it is indeed the shell of what they were split from originally. This is all I really know of it in canon. I believe it can also summon natural lightning like the kirin technique but idk about in the RP.

In the RP, the way the technique is worded, explains what it can do pretty clearly. I summon it though the regular means of summoning, it can deliver S rank physical blows and phantom dragons that sap the target's chakra. Is this technique freeform or is it reference somewhere? Is it the yin phantom dragons? How much chakra does it sap?

Furthermore it can tank S rank damage with no drawbacks and able to break a technique down by 80 dmg points, weakened the hell out of an oncoming technique. This cannot be summoned while a custom contracts is on the field, only if animal path animals are on the field and after the fact, ONLY animal path animals are eligible to get summoned. It can also extend chakra receivers big enough to reach up to five meters from its body. How much damage does this do? I assume 80 (S-rank). Of course, this is an active technique so it cost a move to summon.

Powerful as ****.

Make sure when you summon it, you have the animal path and outer path active. Don't have any other summons.
Phantom dragons will be S rank most likely. Don't have a tech in the rp.

They don't have a limit on chakra they can drain. Remember when nagato went wild when Yahiko died? Go watch that.

Assume it's attacks are S rank.

As for actual big damage:

( Gedō Mazō Shōgeki no nami ) - Demonic Statue of the Outer Path Shockwave
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 60
Damage: 120
Description: If surrounded by enemies, the Demonic Statue lets out an enormous shock wave that pushes the enemies back.
Note: Can only be used once per turn.

( Gedō Mazō: Chakura Bakufū no Jutsu ) - Demonic Statue of the Outer Path Chakra Blast Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 60
Damage: 120
Description: Using its protrusions, the Demonic Statue strikes multiple foes with bolts of devastating chakra. These bolts are very powerful and can be used in an omnidirectional manner.
Note: Can only be used once every two turns.

( Mazo no Kusari ) - Demonic Statue Chains
Type: Supplementary / Offense / Defense
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: A technique derived from the Outer Path, which manifests chakra chains to bind anyone who touches the user's chakra receivers. This binding power is far greater than Nagato's Outer Path. The chains have a cursed seal which suppresses the power of the tailed beasts and cause a great deal of pain to the victims. The Gedo can extend the chains from it's mouth and/or body to complete bind and restrict their targets. With the cursed seals on the chains, the user can not only bind their opponent physically but spiritually as well, similar to the Uzumaki clan's chains. Techniques that would otherwise allow the victim to escape the restrictions such as summoning techniques and other space/time techniques would be incapable of being used. However, in order to invoke any of the properties of the curse sealing on these chains, the victim must be impaled with the user’s or the statue's chakra rods. The exception to this are the Bijuu, since their chakra once originated with the Gedo Statue. If these conditions aren't met, then the chains are nothing but a physical ninjutsu with great power to be used for offensive or other purposes. The shinobi controlling the Gedo is capable of using this technique, extending it from their hands in various sizes. However, only those with adequate skills can make use of the sealing properties of the chains.
Note: The Gedo can utilize the sealing nature of the chains, but in order for the summoner to be able to use, he will have needed to have completed basic Fuuinjutsu.
Note: The Mazo can use this to forcibly seal Bijuu within their bodies if they maintain the hold of the technique for 3 turns. The Bijuu must be first released or the user must take an additional 2 turns to extract it from their person.
Note: The chains can be broken with same rank elemental chakra or Forbidden rank raw chakra. Bijuu Jutsu and techniques are ineffective against these chains as well as if the victim is under the constraints of the curse sealing properties. If they destroy or remove the rod from their bodies, the sealing will be broken and the chains will only be physically binding.
Note: To break the mental/spiritual binding of the seal requires a yin natured or spiritual jutsu of equal rank and power or higher

Okay cool cool. First two techs are rather simple but extremely powerful. That being said, one is meant to push multiple foes back. Probably cave in their whole chest.

Ah. This is what I was referring to when I said the natural lightning. This is actually what it is. So basically these are devastating, literal gigantic bolts of raw chakra pretty much capable of leveling any and everything. They can be used omni-directionally and can summon multiple at a time.

And then the demonic statue chains are just like regular chakra chains but not necessarily stronger, I wouldn't say, just capable of different things and stronger in different aspects. They can seal tailed beasts as well as bind opponents physically and mentally. However, in order to actually bind them psychically to incapacitate them or spiritually, they must have been in contact/impaled by the user's or the statue's chakra rod(s). However outside of that they are still useful for binding and attacking like normally chains outside of that. Such as wrapping an opponent up or striking them/whipping them.

Question: I see that it says the user is capable of using the chains themselves, but does the Gedo Mazo need to be present to do so? I assume the outer path must be active but does the statue need to be summoned/present?

It doesn't need to be present but you will need the outer path active to use them.

Which path next?

The Preta Path grants the user the ability to absorb chakra in any form through physical contact. Almost akin to Part I of a dark release technique.

You must be registered for see images

I like this gif as an example. As you see the fire technique is "hitting" him but getting sucked up by the chakra absorption. It was a fireball four or five times his size too, overall. So it just goes to show how efficient the chakra absorption can be.

In the RP, the technique is explained rather well. The blocking technique absorption seal actually allows the wielder to intake oncoming Ninjutsu from an oncoming technique into their own body and spin their own chakra reversely, basically watering down and dissipating the technique they absorb entirely within themselves. So yeah. Makes sense that it is a "high advanced" technique as far as the lore and description of the technique. It also states that this makes it to where the user is completely unaffected by said technique. Which makes sense. Much like the picture I posted, for example, heat only comes with the flames that produce it so as the flames get sealed, so does the heat coming with it, I assume.

It also states that this can be used to replenish the user's chakra reserves, stamina, etc. as well. Making it as much of a versatile jutsu than a basic one. However, this is done through direct contact of an entity, apparently. Not through the means of absorbing a technique.

"Note: Can absorb any Ninjutsu regardless of rank, nature or other properties as long as its within the same timeframe."

This is a key note on how powerful the technique actually is. I assume this has to be done in some form of reasoning but in general, in theory, on paper, this technique can basically absorb, I'll say: almost, anything. An absolutely devastating technique. I absolutely love this.

Not necessarily. I know it is used primarily for ninjutsu and bijutsu but it does not interact well with senjutsu but I don't know what this implies and don't know any other limitations outside of this.

Senjutsu when you don’t know how to control it is one.

Second is it’s the stuff in the same timeframe

Third is it can’t absorb taijutsu and bukijutsu

Fourth is it can’t affect jutsu within your body such as genjutsu.

Yeeeaahhh I could have guessed all that of course. I was thinking a little too hard lol...

Next I'll do deva path. So I basically had this on my tenseigan. And this is the path that caused the most singular area destruction in the show that I can remember, capable of putting a giant dent in Konoha as if an asteroid had landed there. Deva path gives the user or body access to pushing and pulling forces through gravity. They are able to essentially manipulate the earth itself, capable of digging up ground or accumulate large debris in the area to form pseudo moons, asteroids and planets. This is the bulk and bread and butter of what the deva path can do. This has also been shown to create little pseudo black holes which pull in said debris in the area. That being said, there are levels and scales to the technique in general, having used it usually means you waiting a while (in the RP, a turn or two) to let it "build up" and recharge again. The smaller the use the quicker the wait and the larger the use the longer the wait. However the technique doesn't have any drawbacks outside of the cooldown period that I am aware of and is neutral to everything.

That's all I got.
