A dialogue heavy but decent chapter in my opinion. I'm a sucker for proper dialogue scenes and build up so I don't mind it as much but I can see people wanting something more than this from a monthly release. I think this will be great in the anime tho, whenever it makes a comeback. Keeping it short, this one gets 7.5 from me.

I'm inclined to agree, stakes needs to be raised. That could be potential character development for Daemon too literally speaking. He might gain some form of emotional commitment outside the usual killing urge. That, and then Ada needs to be rescued for the omnipotence to ever be reversed and things back to normal if that is even possible thereafter

Boruto manga doesn't hit as hard as Naruto. They story doesn't feel like its moving and its not as exciting to read. I'm not connected with any of the characters.

I can respect your point, it really is a 'one battle after another' (no pun to Leo's latest movie intended lol) type of manga so far. So much so that every time there's a dialogue-based one it feels like it's overstaying its welcome so to speak. For me personally I feel some of that can be attributed to the fact that it's a monthly release and basically feeding us with 4 chapters in one go with such long time in between feels unnatural. I do like the story they are building though, but it's going to feel like forever before it's really established well enough to even have a shot at old Naruto feeling I worry. I like it for what it is though and the potential it has, but I do get your point for sure. It's not the same substance or as you put it, doesn't hit as hard, we are tossed right into it, not years of looming villain build-up
