I do find him sus.

To be fair, he did replace in, so only had a day.

I am not liking how day 3 is less content and less solving than day 2 from AP, however.

I know we need to hit wolves but sometimes they're not obvious, and removing the players who are essentially providing them cover to hide behind, the inactives, helps the solve.

It's very, "if you want to make an omelette you have to crack a few eggs", and I don't like it.

But the situation was pretty dire given how little content several slots had.

We hit a guy with zero posts in Dead of Winter. He was town.

We also found all 4 wolves otherwise. Sometimes, it's a thing that needs to happen to make progress.

It sucks though. I also loved Hunty, they were very friendly and thanked and liked half my posts.

If they had shown up for like 10 minutes my vote would have been elsewhere.

I don't disagree with the vote on Hunty, despite being town, his reasons for voting and participating were little and suspect. his inactivity provided unnecessary cover like you mentioned. Its not something that can always be helped but unfortunately, these are the votes that Wolves will jump on.

If you have experience you know that a lot of games, nuanced thoughts like that aren't allowed.

You just get shouted at for accusing a townie and that's it, that's the depth of thoughts that exist that game. Town almost always loses when it gets like that.

Thanks everyone who is thinking at least a step or two ahead of that in depth and complexity.

Game's neither easy nor straightforward and solving it requires a better view of the chess board than "i see a pawn, imma grab it".

You've played plenty of games I would assume, so I wouldn't need to give you unsolicited advice.

What I would ask you to do is treat Gutsy as if they were a confirmed clear and the game is riding on whether or not your answers are honest, and villagery.

Just explain yourself to the jury, meaning everyone else.

That's best practices and would help me maintain the town read on you, if that is something desirable to you.

Noted on the JOAT. Process wise, if you tracked AnimePigeon on Night 2, just drop the result first. Then we can ask animepigeon to confirm or deny. Also say when you learned the motion detect was stolen. was it end of night 2 or 3. ill look at the pressure after the result on this record. Result is what matters.

With a game this size, it is likely only 2 wolves exist. I don't see it being too much more than that. if at all.

finding the first wolf could be the very thing needed to find the second or third. But I think we have at least 3 good prime wolf suspects tbh

To be clear, that's just a thought exercise-

lets say you both wolf read each other, but youre both town.

Treating each other as town, even for a single post, can help stop the mutual tunnel.

And, if the other person is a wolf, it doesn't actually cost you anything.

That's why i do stuff like that. It's basically free and positive and never hurts.

You can absolutely suspect each other, I just, for best practices, occasionally take a break from the suspicion and treat each other like you knew they were town.

For just-in-case reasons. It can break you out of a bad tunnel and work with this person in the world where they're town.

And if they're a wolf, you still suspect them, so it's still fine.
