Doctor has not made a successful protect, which is not that unusual.

It's just not usually the case they live two days after claiming. Especially if, like, regular vanilla townies are getting murdered at night instead, as in last night.

This is where you can make certain assumptions, which are slightly risky.

Sometimes mafia partners vote for each other in order to create "distance", but, the vote was rather close.

In the event that stargate were a wolf, Big boss and Ekko should both be innocent, and Haze already just died and flipped innocent.

So if stargate18 is a wolf, both Big Boss and Ekko should be town. That's important to keep in mind on future rounds.

Yeah Stargate18 is generally aware that doctors do not ordinarily self protect.

I do wonder if this is an unusual setup where the doctor can self protect once, and then protect others twice, or.... something like that.

Something involving 1 shot powers or 2 shot powers.

can you clarify if the above is the case, or did you misspeak, or were you theorizing another doctor role.

Were you role swapping, meaning, claiming doctor while actually a different power?

Also, while I recommend this procedure, sometimes folks, newer folks in particular, need to have it explained why it's a good idea.

Its mainly because waiting another full day is so bad. Also, if stargate really is a doctor, he.... kinda needs to know who to protect now, right?

mmMMMm. I will be reading the whole game again from start looking for the reads of the dead, and also, the reads of the living.

I want to see who was right about the townies so far, in other words, who was trying hardest to make sure townies didn't die.

Sometimes wolves use their information about who is a wolf to be "more right" than townies, because they can do that, since they know all the answers.

I'll be looking for signs of that, it's called having wolfy TMI, for too much information.

But, in general, the folks who have been trying to protect townies during day and voting for folks who can be a wolf and have not been eliminated yet, should be considered the folks trying hardest for town to win.

That's not nothing- its not as good as an alignment cop check, but it's points in someone's favor, unless there's something TMI and wolfy about the rest of their posts.

That's what I wanna do after the popcorn claiming happens.

Also- one thing I want people to brace for, is that townies are going to find each other a little suspicious here.

We've been guessing wrong all game. It's natural that townies who voted for townies are going to look suspect to other townies.

It's important to stay calm, clear-headed, and rational.

It's okay if someone suspects you, it's not the end of the game, or even their final decision. They can change their mind, don't overreact.

Speaking from experience-
Town often collapses and destroys itself if we don't proceed with caution, and concern that our fellow player might still be town anyway even if they guess us wrong.

It's still as I said yesterday- we have a lot of wrong answers crossed off now. It should be like shooting fish in a barrel to hit a mafioso today. There aren't many places to hide.

And every single time you guess a townie is town correctly, there's even fewer spaces for them to hide.
