Because we already have PM/VM's + enough sections like the Chatterbox and Konoha Town where you can talk. Not to mention it would lag the forums incredbly.

I don`t think it would..when i was editing sites i found a place where you can make your own chatbox and embed it on any other site,it will the lag the forum as much as a youtube video...

And the reason is real time chatting and not having to post every time u want to answer
