Is it really worth it to go Anime Convention?

I'm thinking about attending Anime Midwest 2024 and wondering if it's worth it. What are your thoughts on anime conventions like this? Is it really good? what are the stuffs that they're offering there? My friends convinced me to attend but I don't know if I should go. Here's the link of their website:

I've been to conventions albeit none of them anime. However I had funs at every last one I went to so I would say go for it because I doubt anime ones are any different. Probably more fun.
