Basic Information
Name: Uzumaki Jake
Title: The Rat Sage
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Clan: Uzumaki

Looks:
Uzumaki Jake strongly resembles Naruto Uzumaki, with spiky blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and whisker marks across his cheeks. Unlike Naruto, however, Jake’s eyes grow cold and calculating when in battle, a reflection of his hardened survivalist outlook. His attire consists of a darker flak jacket, lined at the shoulders with fur reminiscent of his Rat Contract, and dark shinobi pants. He usually wears his headband tied loosely around his arm rather than his forehead.
- Imperfect Rat Sage Mode: Whisker marks elongate into twitching filaments, teeth sharpen, and fur patches sprout across his arms.
- Perfect Rat Sage Mode: His eyes become golden with rat-like slits, a chakra cloak resembling fur surrounds him, and he emits a faint plague-like haze.

Nindo: “A fox fights for glory, but a rat fights to survive. Guess which one is still gnawing after the fire fades.”

Personality:
Unlike his cousin Naruto, Jake is pragmatic, cunning, and patient. He does not chase glory but survival, embodying the persistence of the rat. Beneath this calculating nature lies the Uzumaki clan’s trademark loyalty — for those he calls family, he will endure, claw, and gnaw through any obstacle.

Background Info
History:
In this alternate timeline, Jake was born into the Uzumaki clan after the fall of Uzushiogakure. While most of his kin clung to sealing traditions, Jake wandered into the cavernous underworld beneath the Land of Fire, where he encountered the mythical Rat King. Striking a desperate pact for survival, Jake became the first human wielder of the Rat Summoning Contract and began his training as the Rat Sage.

His travels across the Warring States Era made him both feared and respected — feared as a plague-bearer whose enemies often withered before reaching him, and respected for his cunning survival tactics. While he lacks Naruto’s optimism, he carries the Uzumaki flame of loyalty and resilience, willing to outlast any foe in order to protect those he calls family.

Biography Declined
As mentioned before; strong start and a good baseline but missing a lot of the vital components and factors that go into a properly organized biography. At this point, given that you haven't made the edits suggested, I'm just going to send this to Declined. You are more than welcome to re-submit when you've decided on the changes you'd like to make.

Well with that being said, I'd be happy to help you review said rules if you'd like! At least as it pertains to this bio of yours, since that may as well be considered the foundation to all of the RP. Keep in mind that the forum is currently going through a lot of changes and renovations, and the RP is of course no small exception to this, so don't be surprised if certain things become obsolete or change into something else entirely over the course of the coming months. If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

For a starter, introductory bio, this is by all means well done. You have most of the important stuff squared away quite nicely, in terms of the overall necessary bullet points that need addressed. The most immediate thing that jumps out is the ranks and abilities, which is often where a lot of things get confusing; especially if you're unfamiliar with the systems of the RP. So we may as well review them one by one.

  • Nindo
Nindos as you may be familiar from the show were a sort of "catchphrase" that exemplified the personality of a character. Mechanically in the RP, however, they serve a slightly more significant function by allowing certain unique perks to the character based on the one chosen. There is a list that can be found and reviewed by clicking > Here. < All Nindos are treated as a sort of passive function to the biography; some are meant to buff you, while others are meant to debuff your opponent(s), depending on the circumstances or if certain criteria are met. Each bio can have 1 of these chosen and declared on their bio. While it might be fun to imagine coming up with your own Nindo, we ask that you stick to what is listed here for the purposes of remaining consistent across the RP from bio-to-bio. While some people like to choose theirs based on the description of it to match the personality of their character, this isn't a requirement, so if you'd prefer to rely on their mechanics to decide which you want, that's totally fine as well.
  • Ninja Rank & Skills
The Ninja Rank of a biography is determined by their overall progress in the RP through various means. All bios begin at the baseline rank of Academy Student and progress accordingly through a series of goal posts to reach the next rank. You can see a thorough breakdown of the ranks > Here. < That being said, the rank you should want to assign your bio here will be the Academy Student rank. As such, your afforded choices for your loadout (at the moment) will be a base health of 35, Base chakra of 300, 2 basic elements (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth or Lightning), and 1 basic ninja skill (Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu or Bukijutsu). Don't feel like you have to overthink these options based on what you start with, as in the current state of the game and its rules, you'll eventually come to have access to all of them, so just choose whichever are the most exciting to you to start.
  • Specialties
You must be registered for see images
Bio specialties are more than just descriptive words based on "ideas" of what your character is good at. Much like the Nindo, these are a specific mechanic in the game that comes with a rather robust list of options > Here. < Specialties are broken down into 5 primary categories: Body, Mind, Spirit, Extraordinary and Fighting Style specialties. You can choose up to 6 from this list and have a combination of any number of them from any of the respective categories, meaning you can combine 2-2-2, 2-1-3, or whatever you'd like. Please take your time looking through these options, as it can be easily overlooked that some of them have certain unique restrictions or requirements in order to use, such as needing to have a certain attribute level, having a specific ability, or in some cases, certain ones cannot be combined with others (A can go with B, but A cannot go with C, etc). Specialties are generally chosen to round out the overall focus of a bio. For example, a Genjutsu user may primarily focus on having a lot of Spirit specialties, or a Taijutsu user a lot of Body specialties. Much like the previous categories, you aren't obligated to choose any one specifically, so go with whatever suits your fancy and feel free to rotate them out at a later time if you want to try different builds/combinations.
  • Attributes
The attribute system is rather robust and can seem a bit intimidating to skim over at face value, but fundamentally these embody the basic principle of "stats" that you see in most games such as Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, etc. A thorough explanation of what attributes are and which is which can be found > Here. <At the rank of Academy Student, you have 10 points to allocate. Ordinarily you can choose where you want to assign your points at your own discretion, but a minimum of 2 points is required in each field (except Vitality) so your stats at this rank should look like 2-2-2-2-2-0. For now, we can settle on a quick overview of each stat and their functions accordingly:
    • MIND: Mind most commonly compares to "Intelligence" in traditional stat sheets. It represents a bio's capacity and potential to use various Ninjutsu, primarily as it relates to traditional elemental techniques and similar. Adding points to this attribute allows you to gain access to higher ranks of Ninjutsu, as well as increasing the damage said Ninjutsu deal in the form of various tiered bonuses.
    • BODY: Body represents -as you might imagine- "Strength." It determines the capacity to utilize skills such as Taijutsu, Kenjutsu and other body arts. Putting points into this attribute will reflect the same outcomes as the above mentioned (higher ranks, higher damage), but also serves to determine ones durability as it relates to reducing physical damage.
    • SPIRIT: Spirit is akin to "Wisdom" in a lot of contexts. It deals with the representation of spiritual/mental fortitude when it comes to things like use of Genjutsu and other Spiritual abilities. Increasing this attribute will determine more of the same as the above (higher ranks, higher damage, higher reduction).
    • AGILITY: Agility, the first one that is exactly what you'd expect to see in most games. This attribute directly represents the character’s speed and -as it implies- how agile you are. How quickly can you close the gap between you and an enemy/target, are you faster than a thrown kunai to where you can dodge it simply by saying you do (this is referred to as "freeform dodging"), etc.
    • DEXTERITY: Dex is something like the twin sibling to Agility and kind of go hand-in-hand. While Agility deals in your physical speed, Dexterity deals with your capacity to perceive the speed of other things. I'd say it's more accurate to think of it as "Perception" in terms of traditional skills. Are you able to see someone's technique that is moving "faster than a bullet" (Dexterity), if so, can you move fast enough to dodge it (Agility).
    • VITALITY: Last but certainly not least, Vitality is precisely what it sounds like, but it deals in more than just one's health stat. Vitality can also be counted toward your Chakra, depending on which you feel is more important. So simply, each point you put into this attribute can either be delegated to your Health, or your Chakra, declared in some way in the bio itself.

With all of that "fun" stuff out of the way, that should at least get you started with the fundamentals. While there is certainly a lot to cover to get someone "up to speed" to the various in's and out's of the RP, as previously mentioned establishing the baseline of a bio is pretty much the bread and butter of what you will be doing afterward, so getting this built properly will be the best place to focus.

A few other technicalities that are worth mentioning is something like the reference of Sage Mode. This is an ability that must be purchased to gain access to it. It is broken into two differing abilities: Imperfect and Perfect, each with its own price tag and capabilities. To purchase abilities and similar utilities you'd put on your bio, you will need what is called Kumi, but we can certainly get into all of that in another conversation. You can find a detailed list of all the various abilities and what they cost > Here. < The short of it is simply to know that at the moment, you do not have access to something like Sage Mode, so you'll want to remove the reference of it from your bio until you get the opportunity to earn it. If you would like to reference it in your history as being something you are adamantly striving to achieve or whathaveyou, that's fine. Just so it's understood you currently can't use it.

Once these changes are made, go ahead and message me either here or on my profile and I'll be happy to review it again and eventually get it approved so you can get started. Of course if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Whether it be myself or nearly anyone who participates in the RP will likely be more than happy to answer your questions.
