WA Orochimaru vs WA Sakura

It's a battle of who outlasts who. Orochimaru can't spam Oral Rebirth forever, meanwhile Sakura has her own broken healing powers (Byakogou).

And since she was mentioned to have surpassed Tsunade, I think she's more than capable of giving Oro a hard battle.

He also has genjutsu I don't think Sakura could shake either.

Sakura was also hyped to be skilled at genjutsu since part 1, but much like Orochimaru, she doesn't have many feats backing it up...Regardless, genjutsu is not apart of their main battle Kit/fighting style IMO, so I don't think this will decide who's the winner anyway.

I'm a Sakura stan but my arguments usually require stipulations. I'm not illogical. So fair enough. And thats not a dig at you thats me saying I really want to argue to always give Sakura the dub lol So to switch sides this time is interesting.

Although he cannot spam it I believe throughout the encounter he will be able to set them up indefinitely while giving her a virtually infinite amount of distractions thru summons and shadow clones so I still dont see how she would get past that part. She also seems to eventually tire. I've yet to see Orochimaru tire.

Okay let's use their pt2 kit then. Hasn't Orochimaru facetanked an almighty push? Same ability that nuked the leaf? What does Sakura have that can output that? His body can clearly take pretty much peak level physical punishment and thats all Sakura is is physical. Can't say she's smarter or has more battle IQ. Orochimaru confirmed top tier scientist and medical practitioner, has battle IQ and experience well past Sakura's years so its not like she will out calculate him. The same creation he made she struggled to beat up (Shin). I don't see her winning, all things considered. Katsuyu is useless in this battle. She has a lot of strength and a lot of healing. Both of which Orochimaru has an answer for.

Slugs>Snakes>Toads>Slugs (Sannin deadlock).

And Sakura surpassed Tsunade by the WA, so I don't believe it's that one-sided. They should roughly be around the same power level IMO which is why I think it would a fun fight regardless of the winner.

Unlike the other Sannin who were simply power-locked and showed new stuff over time, stuff they presumably always had, Orochimaru was not power-locked and showed evolution the entire series. Constantly developing new techniques, body modifications, etc. Probably because thats the embodiment of the character. (Scientific) evolution. So while you could argue that Sakura surpassed Tsunade, could you assume Orochimaru has also surpassed his Sannin comrades? By far? Because he did. By far.

According to their databook stats, they're roughly around the same level. They all generally share the same portrayal as well throughout the story with Orochimaru being hyped to be the strongest of them the most, but ultimately, I highly doubt that we're meant to see it as him being tiers above his fellow Sannin peers.

What made him surpass them solidly however was the Hashirama cells he gained upon taking over white zetsu's body. Not only do they provide a healing factor but they also have been shown to boost chakra levels and give access to wood style.

And with Sakura being confirmed to have surpassed Tsunade herself, I would imagine she is roughly in the same tier as war arc Orochimaru.

I would argue that Orochimaru takes it but that is because of my bias and my general feelings towards either character. In terms of abilities and feats I prefer Orochimarus abilities to Sakuras. so I would probably pick him as the winner, not saying a fight would be easy.
