Looking stiff there. What do you know of wood release canon wise and RP wise?
It's both a powerful Kekkei Genkai and a body enhancer, though that's just it being related to Hashirama's cells. It doesn't seem like something anyone can ever awaken. It's exclusive only to Hashirama and only a few individuals have strong enough bodies to handle and use this element. It's supposedly comprised of Water and Earth release. It's also extremely versatile; can be used for defense, offense, buildings things, trapping foes or quite literally subjugating large beasts under control by wrapping the larger techniques of it.
Few of its techs are so big that they were literally used as a counter to Kurama single-handedly, almost like binding a prisoner. Although it's strong in itself, only people with exceptional genes will be able to use it at its fullest extent and in many cases they'll end up like Danzo if they overuse their power while low on strength. It also has a Sage Mode with healing properties, which is not necessarily present in all SMs.

Healing and Wood SM would be exclusive to Hashirma/Madara biographies, so you won't be able to access those. The following are the S/Ws of the element. Something to note in Bijuu chakra is that it can be used to suppress it, but only it's raw form through specific techniques. This would not carry on to Bijuu chakra fueled field such as Coral, Ink, Blue fire etc.

Strengths: Earth | Water | Bijuu Chakra | Dark(Absorb) | Dark(Release)
Weaknesses: Lightning | Black Lightning | Liquid Fire | Scorch | Bugs

Let's start with these. I encourage asking questions as much as possible.

(Mokuton: Moku no Goku Rendan) - Wood Release: Wood Pole Combo
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: The user creates a thin pole of wood from either the ground or himself. The pole itself can be used as a hand to hand weapon to strike opponents or as a support tool.

(Mokuton: Moku Hasshi no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wood Projectiles Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: Focusing chakra into his hands or the ground, the user will make 3 to 4 small (kunai sized) projectiles of wood and propel them against the enemy.

(Mokuton: Mokujin) - Wood Style: Wooden Man
Type: Supplementary
Rank: D
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: N/A (+5 for any hits landed by the dummy)
Description: The user creates a training wooden dummy to help him train or to fight against an opponent.

If I'm fighting a Jin in the RP, I can simply use wood to suck off their chakra/bind them?

Also how does Dark Release interact with wood - I saw that it's strong against the Absorb version as well. So if some Dark user absorbs my Mokuton tech, how exactly will my jutsu be strong against the absorb?

1. It's D-Rank and has shit damage so it's not good for attacking but it can be used to quickly grab on to something. E.g., if I'm falling into lava and there's a tree or some stuff nearby, I can use this to sprout out a large wood pole from my hand, entangle the tree and simply lift myself and prevent my character from falling. I hope I'm getting the usage correct.

2. This is a question for this and every other tech that contains "numerous attacks". It says 3 or 4 kunai projectiles and 20 damage. I'm guessing EACH kunai will hold 20 damage or is it combined? Because if each of them do separate damage, I wonder how it can be a D-Rank since that will be 80 damage.

3. Terrible tech. I can't take cover behind it. It's just much better to use other forms of defense that are high-ranked and span a larger defensive area, because the range of an average ninjutsu will probably be bigger than a dummy for me to take cover behind it.

You need to use the appropriate techniques for that. Normal wood attacks would simply be stronger interaction wise against them. Do you know how Dark Absorption occurs?

No it can not be used to entangle the tree. It's a basic shaped pole.
It is 20 damage combined. All techniques that have clauses similar to that function in a similar fashion.

(Mokuton: Moku Henge) - Wood Style: Wood Transformation
Type: Supplementary
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: 10 (-5 per turn to keep active)
Damage: N/A
Description: By focusing chakra and performing the Bird → Dog → Snake hand seals, the user makes wood pillars sprout from the ground and cover his whole body, while using chakra to cover it with precision to produce the desired effect. By covering the wood with his chakra the user is able to transform it into another shape or form with increased detail, by using his wood chakra. This is used to create an effect similar to the transformation technique but to a higher degree of detail and realism.

(Mokuton No Jutsu) - Wood Style Technique
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: D
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: Creates small wood pillars or trees to trap, fight, or defenf with. These can be created from the users own body or from the ground.

(Mokuton: Mokuchū Noboru) - Wood Release: Wood Pillar Climb
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: 10
Damage: 30
Description: The user manipulates their wood natured chakra to create a pillar of wood rise up beneath the opponent lifting them into the air.

(Mokuton: Mokuchū Sora Kikku) - Wood Release: Wood Sky Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Description: The user will attack the opponent multiple times with several punches and kicks before turning their left arm into wood that extends out into a small pillar and pointing towards the ground and then lifting them towards the opponent where they finish them with a kick to the chin lifting them into the air.

I seldom remember it from that Hiruko movie. It's kind of like Momoshiki's where he doesn't just absorb but is also able to launch the same jutsu back at the opponent; advanced than Rinnegan absorption. So, I'm guessing Dark Release can't absorb Mokuton?

Uhh then there's no use to that wood pole tech? In terms of being support.

1. Pretty basic Jutsu that has no use in fights. It's just a slightly upgraded transformation tech which again doesn't have many applications in battle. I guess it could be a "fancier" alternative to Henge while writing missions but that's about it.

2. The most common use of Mokuton but also very overpowered when it's of a higher rank, as Hashi literally used the more competent/biggest version of this same concept to restrain larger opponents like Kurama.

3. A question for this and similar techniques that "emerge" to lift up the opponent: Is my opponent able to react or is this jutsu fast enough to not allow that to happen? Like, if I use a tech that lifts the other person into the air using a wood or any other pillar, would it work quickly enough for the enemy to get affected by it most of the time? Excluding extremely-speedy bios.

4. Supplementary with Taijutsu. While you're normally hitting your opponent you simply mix in a wood maneuver. This would be useful if it didn't require punching/kicking before hand and just used from the get-go in close range.

Lesser questions this time since all of these were fairly simplistic.

It's not more advanced than Rinnegan's, that one is arguably the best one available in the RP. Dark absorption wise is weak to solid items, so that would naturally carry on towards wood. And you can stand on the wooden pole I guess, but yeah most low ranked jutsu are useless.

In regards to the emerging, should they have means of perceiving the attack coming, such as chakra sensory or noticing the sound and shaking of the ground, it could be possible. But it might fall under the realms of metagame depending on how it is conducted. Like they would not know how big or what the underground attack is, so it's a case by case thing, though generally I would not recommend trying to dodge attacks like that in such fashion.

(Mokuton: Sanoru Moku Tate) - Wood release: Threefolds Wood Shield

(Mokuton: Shichūrō no Jutsu) - Wood Style: Four Pillars Prison
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram → Ox → Boar → Snakeconverts chakra into timber under the ground and makes it grow rapidly, while forming it into a wooden prison. The size of the prison is based on the user's imagination. From an insect cage to a great prison, one can make it into whatever they want by regulating the amount of chakra used. The timber itself is treated with a chakra coating, making its destruction extremely difficult. During war, it has the great ability to detain prisoners, but it can also be used as a disciplinary measure for quarrelling subordinates.

1. I guess it's okay if I wanna tank a very weak C Rank attack but then again I could just dodge it in such a case, and no one uses C Ranks so..

2. Uhh I have no idea how this one works. The wording is confusing. When it says it mimics its opponents move, does it.. mean while taijutsu fighting? I read the "Wooden Men Coffin" technique that the description mentions but it's also vague as well. Is this technique like a clone that I send to fight my opponent and it will simply mimic its moves and drain chakra.. by just being there? I don't understand this jutsu one bit.

3. It simply creates a house. lol

4. Not much confusion here except the usage of chakra thingy, but I wanna ask that later since it's mostly irrelevant to this technique.

My only question is about the 2nd tech listed.

Basically a clone-like technique that copies the movement of opponents. So if they throw a punch, the wooden would too as well. When used with the mentioned technique it would additionally allow some chakra to be drained, pretty much by just being there yeah lmao.

Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 15

(Mokuton: Moku no Sutokuu Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wood Stocks Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user will create a set of wooden stocks that will then entrap the target binding their movement.

(Mokuton: Moku Ibara Ringu no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Wood Spike Ring Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: The user creates a semi-circle of wood around a captured target, and then form spikes within the ring, pointing at the said target, preventing them from making any sudden movements.

(Mokuton: Yarijurin no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Spear Forest Technique

Wow okay then xD Ironically it's the only tech of Wood I've liked so far.

1. Kind of a follow up to the D ranked one where a pillar emerged. It's a useless low rank but I still have a timeframe question regarding this. I know that you can dodge/counter a jutsu. Like if:
Opponent does a move
I can dodge/tank or reply with my own move potentially before it hits. But how does it work if the the jutsu has two parts?
In this instance, the first pillar initiates the attack - Let's say this is impossible to avoid. But for the second part of the jutsu, where another pillar will emerge from the user's hand - Can my opponent simply "perform" a jutsu (provided it's fast enough) within that interval? This is a confusing question so I'll phrase it this way:
A. First Pillar lift
B. Person gets lifted in the air
C. Second Pillar attack

Tl;dr question is.. In the "B" interval, can my opponent cast a jutsu or do a move to dodge it? Or will they simply have to wait till my jutsu finishes due to the timeframe rules?

Two and three are simply binding techs and I wonder how many more of those this element has.

4. I'm not sure why it has forest in it since you can only release two thin extensions from your arms. Would be better if it was more flexible and allowed me to propel myself for dodging purposes

-Doesn't require hand seals, so it can probably be used for creating distance when your hands are trapped or something.

- This one is actually okay I guess, depending on how effective the counters to attacks from beneath the opponent has.

-- Uhh it mentions Yamato applying the tech in particular. But any normal user with wood can or perhaps this means only Yamato bios can do this?

- Nothing much to add. Even if it was high powered, there's too many ways in the RP to get out of such a weak bind.

Normal users can use it.

(Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Cutting Technique
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: A highly versatile techniques whereby the user converts part of their body to wooden branches. These branches can then be used offensively by multiplying and extending them, then piercing opponents with them. It can also be used to create short-range weapons like makeshift "swords", or else vaulted at opponents as a long-range projectile which can then be remotely manipulated to grow even more.

(Moku Bunshin no Jutsu) – Wood Clone Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user creates clones of themselves made of wood that then sprout out of their body or are created from any nearby source of Wood, Earth or Water. These clones, however, are quite special as they maintain a mental connection to the user, communicating back to him even from long distances. An advanced use of this technique is to transform the clones into seeds that, once implanted or swallowed allow the user to track an enemy (that has it implanted or ingested it) by pinpointing his position through the same mental connection. Versatile, these clones can use Wood techniques as well as Earth and Water techniques up to S-Rank. This technique, when created by Uchiha Madara, creates clones with EMS/Rinnegan and capable of using the EMS/Rinnegan techniques like Madara himself.
Note: Follows the Clone battle rule usage restrictions

(Mokuton: Mokujōheki) Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The user does the Rat → Dog → Tiger while focusing chakra into the ground. This technique uses chakra to activate the roots in the ground and, using the user of the technique as a reference point, makes wooden pillars appear from left and right. The wooden pillars join together in a dome-shape with the user at the centre. Usable mainly for defensive purposes, this technique can act as a trap if the enemy is near.

(Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu) Wood Release: Great Forest Technique
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: By focusing wood chakra into one of his limbs and performing 4 hand seals (Tiger → Horse → Tiger → Snake), the user is able to sprout and extend a massive brute mass of wooden spikes and pillars. These spikes can be used to both attack the user by impaling him through the sheer speed with which they grow and extend or to defense from incoming attacks by spreading a bit wider and forming a barrier between the user and the attack. A more advanced use for this technique is to utilize it to capture the enemy and imprison him in the mayhem of spikes and pillars. The user can detach himself from the pillars at any time, while stopping it in the process.

1. Basically just like having long wooden arms that you can attack and convert into stuff with.
2. The "bug planting" feature does sound great but not practical in Battle RP.
3. Pretty pointless and generic
4. How many of these copy paste jutsus am I gonna get cheesus friest

No questions, maybe except why I chose to learn this element first out of every other.

4. [Wood Willow] Goes for all similar offensive techs and not just of wood; can I use this defensively too? Just make it in front of my character, and take cover behind it?

Wood Style: Wooden Men Coffin Okay so this is the tech that I had a doubt about. It says "drains chakra", how much per turn? And how things work in the RP, people will just break out of it in their next move. But yeah how much chakra does it absorb per move/turn?
