I don't see her Crystal Release has any affect on Kimimaro. She won't be able to touch him via Taijutsu for one, and two he's just to much in general, don't even get started on his unsurpassed regeneration..

Kimimaro is leagues above any Otogakure Ninja.

at least look up the wikia. one of guren's men can turn to mud like a logia. only kakashi hitting him with raikiri stopped him due to the elemental weakness thing. kimimaro would be stomped by guren.

Was looking up guren and happened to find this thread so i bumped it

Kimimaro should be able to solo.

Guren has the superior power, being abe to crystallise anything solid or liquid, but Kimimaro has superior scaling on all sides.

Guren fought with Kakashi and he held his own for a while through physical skills, so her general speed does not go above V1 level and with no noted perception abilities her casting speed should not go close to V2 speeds at close range.

Kimimaro was far stronger than individual Sound Gate Guardians who scale to Kakashi alone, through their showings against Raido, among others. This means even sick he already starts at V1/Kakashi level. With his showings in the 4th War, he took on a clone of KCM Naruto which is capable of V2 level dashes and frequently uses them in attacks. This necessarily puts Kimimaro at V2 level. The uestion of how his scaling is affected by factors of health brings in other factors such as being a reanimation, using the curse mark and so on, which should balance out at worst. Then there are his powers, which are thought-activated and can cover massive ranges almost instantly. That puts them at roughly V3 speeds.

So in battle, he should be able to rush her and land decisive hits before she activates her powers at a good enough range to affect him. However, if he holds back (mentality of a warrior) and she can use her abilities to fly, she could keep out of his range while continuously turning everything to crystal.

Considering the direct power and legendary status of Crystal Style, this makes sense of why Orochimaru considered Kimimaro unbeatable in combat.

He has potential village busting techs with bone forest and can literally freely move between any of his bones in the forest which almost instantly translates to teleportation more or less, definitely obscures tracking. There’s nothing that would remotely suggest otherwise. Kimimaro was extremely strong my guy… He was doing the most while literally dying. IMAGINE him being healthy. So yes. I for sure think Kimimaro could clap (“stagger”) a bijuu. He’s too versatile and overall extremely powerful physically.
