you know, i did alliances when i had strong town reads and made a kind of masonry with fellow townies, but to pick up the same players of random alignaments doesn't look useful for me.

Again, it's a great way create content and reactions. In D1, I have the mindset that you need to try and do as much as you can to get people talking, otherwise how can you get reads? I feel like almost everyone reacted or posted at least one about The Supreme Alliance and I think that is a job well done.
