Thought I'd just put something here in this broad expanse of scarcity.
Blue
Midnight is blue.
The pool is blue.
Quite famously, violets are blue.
I would rhyme this with you, but blue is much more than that.
Blue is the color around my eyes, blue are the marks on my canvas that mimics the pool,
Blue is I in the cold midnight in search of red.
In search of warmth, in search of rest.
Because blue is lively,
Because blue is quiet,
and so am I.
