That's not even remotely true, at it's base level a beleif is so.ething one holds to be true. Atheists hold the belief their is no God and they hold that to be the truth. It is the opposite of belief in a God, nevertheless it is still a belief. Whether you choose to accept it or not you're not changing that.
We can accept the possibility of a god and not have to think too much about its or our purpose. I mean, you remember that thread I made about how confused I am about everything (I can link it if you dont remember)

@bold: If you don't believe in one you still hold a belief in the opposite. Therefore it is still a belief system, a religion in it's own right if you will. You are an Atheist who follows adheres to the religion (philosophy/principles) of Atheism.

That's the same thing, mate. If I don't believe in the existence of say gravity, it's the same as me saying I don't believe gravity exists.
Atheists and scientistas are just the new day church systems i our cultures and they've convinced most people including themselves that they have the real answers just like the Church and Bible did back in the day.
They follow these ideas presented by people they don't know on topics they can't verify themselves so they take the word of "experts" as gospel kind of like how the people took the Church's word the Earth was the center of the universe. But just as time showed the inaccuracy of our facts of the past so to will time reveal the inaccuracies of our current "truths"
And yes, Atheists attack theists regularly for showing their beliefs. Mocking and ridiculing people for holding a different idea of how the world works.
Truth is non of us know any of this for a fact and if more people would recognize and accept that we could reduce at least one of the divisive factors in our civilization.
Agnostic is the most accurate answer for the time. Humans can't actually grasp the workings of the Universe so to know the existence of "God" is a fact or not is impossible. You can be an agnostic theist or an agnostic atheist meaning you feel one way or the other but know it can never be proven so.
The problem with Theists and Atheists is their determination to live in a world of absolute. It either has to exist or it has to not exist, these people have no room for consideration that we can't accurately imagine things beyond our scope.

I just don't have faith in existence of god, that's it, if evidence of god is discovered and proven then there will be knowledgeable of existence of god and faith won't be needed.
