I don't think looting hurts elites, it hurts small business owners, immigrants and what not doing a decent job. I really don't like it. The protests I still support, I dislike the police culture all over the world where they shoot innocent people then get away with it as if it was nothing.

I think the idea with the looting is that the elites only answer when their interests are at risk, so hurt them economically. This arises from nothing happening during the decades preceding when endless talk was made about racial abuse, documentaries, studies and even Colin Kaepernick kneeling peacefully.

I don't agree with attacking innocents and their interests, but i canxsee where the reasoning comes from. Of course, it could just be a few bad apples taking advantage of the chaos, using the protesters as a political shield etc.

That said, mankind has done well to stop the spread of HIV, to slow down cancers and almost completely shut down ebola. The next great push must be to stop the spread of racism from one generation to another.

While it can be said that this disease is spiritual and not the same kind of find, it is also true that spiritual powwr is the one thing everybody has to give.

I can understand the reasoning but although it's not hurting the company directly (like target), it's still hurting the people who work there. They could've done it in a better way by only going to small and local businesses for things they need, instead of corporations lol. Basically blackout the entire elites

But isn't that the cost of any struggle? To sacrifice today for a better tomorrow. In this case, the folks who lose jobs are the sacrifice. Not sure if such action is ever justified, but perhaps necessary.

I'm torn on whether the protests should even be legal or not.
Cus it's like once in a centurty type of protests but at the same time there is a pandemic going on.
The people probably complaining about the protests are probably the same that wants to reopen the world anyways though.

Well, there are those who say that there's always something else to worry about and in this case, the pandemic is being purposefully utilised as cover by corrupt authorities to push through immoral laws/bills knowing that everyone is too worried about Cory to do anything about them.

The thinking is that if these issues are not sorted out now, if people wait for the pandemic to pass, then the corrupt forces will only strengthen their powerhold and make it ever harder to resist them.

That's the idea. Im not sure if the sacrifice s worth it. Perhaps that's the plan of the corrupt forces?
