[Discussion] someone who is about to commit suicide..

imagine u r somwhere and u sutenly find someone who is about to comit suicide..and then u decide to talk to him cuz u r teh only one closer to him...

what kind of powerfull or wise speeech will u give him to convince him stop comit suicide..

what will u tell him?????..

dont forget that u might have feelings of panic and fear during that moment..

I would tell him I believe that people who wants to die should get help in doing so, that all the choices they make are their own and can't be blamed on others, if they truly feel they need to die, maybe they are right.

I'd tell them that if they feel hopeless, that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, it'll get better.

I'd also tell them that there is someone out there who loves them, and would want them alive. I'd encourage them to better their life in some way and look on the brighter side. Maybe seek professional help, refer them to people, try to be their friend.

I've never had to deal with this situation really, well.... I've been in contact with a suicidal person, but they werent going to do it then and there, I just happen to meet someone (whilst hanging out with some friends at a restaurant) who said he was going to kill himself had he not come across us, we were being very kind to him. I wasn't too involved in that... my friend was basically consulting him and was trying to get him to feel better about things. Made our night a little bit odd but also was a good thing that happened (I was a little bit tipsy tho lol). I dont know a solid answer to it, its so difficult since i havent been in that much despair myself. I would try everything I could to save them though.

Shaming somebody when their suicidal is going to make it worse for them. It's hard to enjoy something when you're depressed so it's better to talk to them, like if you relate and talk out their problems. Let them talk to you freely and talk about how stupid or unfair it is and become friends with them lol

I've never been suicidal but that convo worked for me when i was sad af. Mum was like a lot of people have it worse and i was like... trueeeeee. Now whenever i feel down i just think about that. Also theres dudes who think tobidara is real..

What you said is probably true though and only close friends should probably risk saying what i said.
