Why is Isshiki so strong?

Kaguya killed him and ate the fruit for herself, right? So why is it that he's still strong enough to stomp on Naruto & Sasuke? How can Isshiki be around Kaguya's level(or higher) despite not eating the fruit? How'd she beat him in this case? He's restricted by his host body too. Are Naruto and Sasuke just that weak or is Isshiki truly powerful?

Probably because Naruto and Sasuke have been reduced to pre Jyuubi fight levels in power. He's actually pretty weak, if he got fodderised by a pre-fruit Kaguya. At least it explains why the Kage were beating down Kinshiki and Momoshiki was running from Darui and Gaara.

Naruto and Sasuke are no longer at their peak. They have become complacent since peace or after the Great War. Although Isshiki is not on Kaguya's level, he is equal to Madara in terms of power and somewhat intelligence.

Don't worry about it too much, he'll randomly become weak when he faces Boruto eventually.

What's the big deal with shrinking and stuff btw??? Just throw a poisonous gas bomb while he's small, he ain't sucking that with his karma and he'll literally die immediately due to the immense amount of produced poison in the air. That's it, done.

Where's Sakura when you need her. On a more serious note he got stomped by pre Jyubi Kaguya, so he's pretty pathetic. Naruto and Sasuke are even weaker

It's a little bit of both.

years of peace. Isshiki has his own 10tails with him to gain chakra from time to time. Kaguya's splitered 10tails has been absorbed by Momoshiki (so either it is residing with Boruto or just completely gone altogether).

Jigen/Isshiki also have been getting more and more powerful.

My main issue is that why didn't he make a move during the Alliance War or the Momoshiki invasion?

Also we can't really say anything about Kaguya's power level in this iteration.

Kishi's Kaguya, like most females in Naruto, is pretty trash. I'm sure Ikemoto/Kodachi will actually move away from that idea and actually make her somewhat useful
