So yeah i was asked to check this. Wew damn. Poor me. Am i right? Lets try make sense of this. I mean already had to do partial checks from questions on discord so will clear that up here.
For my own sake i'm going to break this down move by move, this helps with the end result as part of AJ's side of the argument is that the timeframe was messed with in Delta's previous move. So here it goes:
Turn 1
Delta: He passively goes to EMS followed by creating three lightning snakes to attack AJ. No problems here.
Aj: I saw your note about personal summon, was cleared up on discord. Was an oversight in bio check. Aj uses the command art to draw the foreign chakra to his sword, Mythos. As Daemon cleared up on discord, this Command art worked based on rank. With the sword boosting the ability by a ranks in defensive abilities, it goes up to S rank being able to draw the lightning in. The lightning is then rejected by the blade. Personally the blade needs to state what power it can negate, as it gives the example of Nagashi, but i guess old wording plays into your favour. As it stands the chakra is rejected negating the lightning.
AJ follows up with the beacon to do the summoning. The summon release a flamethrower that does double damage.
Turn 2
Delta: Delta instantly activates sage mode passively. He used his enhanced speed to attack and perform a series of enhanced strikes. The spider tried to absorb the fire with it's thread but failed. If the thread wasn't based on damage, it could of worked theoretically as the damage is doubled not the chakra cost. Penny for a thought. Anyway, the fire goes through, hits Delta, sage mode reduces 30 damage, so he'd take 90 damage? The healing wont kick in until the following turn. You guys agreed on some stuff in other VM's so. WIll leave that with that.
Aj: Aj spins his sword to draw the chakra from his body into his blade from within him with another CA, which again, works based on rank, not boosted damage. Aj then uses his x2 speed passive Iaido tech to move behind delta to do his slash. Jumping back after. At the same time the summon moves to attack from above.
Turn 3
Delta: You need to be careful of your wording. "A
ctivating both Deva and Preta paths with the rinnegans activation. " You need to clearly state you do one then the other, when it comes to the paths, even if they are passive. Otherwise they will fail. It was ruled like this in the grand rp tourny. Anyway, Delta activates rinnegan, 2 paths which is all passive then sage mode healing. Following that blocking absorb seal, and reverse summon.
So far TF is: AJ draws in chakra > Delta passives and heal > Aj slash and summon attack > Preta path > Reverse summon.
AJ: As Delta absorbs, Aj then uses Bushido. While he does this, his summon reverse summons him back. He then summons a bunch of swords.
Turn 4
Delta: Delta remains off the field gathering sage chakra. I know with space time jutsu if you don't return in the same turn you technically lose the fight. This is a weird one though. So ima just leave that as it is.
Aj: I feel i should point out you can only have one mode active at a time. In this case, Bushido is technically a mode, and prison gate sword outlines itself as a mode also. So it would be one or the other. So in this case you have another few buffs to you, some drugs and such. But i believe with you activating this mode, bushido would deactivate.
Turn 5
Delta: He just takes some drugs. Y'all need to go into rehab. Anyway, Delta then returns to the field.
Aj: Aj starts with his beacon, using another summoning.
"which give off a soft glow – all over the battlefield; this causes the opponent(s) to become very relaxed, as they start to fall into a deep, soothing sleep " - The glowing of the feathers is the medium for the illusion based on this line. Being based on the cannon jutsu it is A ranked.
With the birds doing their thing, you leap towards delta. They are summoned 16m above Aj. And just release the feathers. " gave off a soft glow all over the battlefield, " - The glow spreads over the field. Not the feathers. For them to go all over the field the birds would have to move all over the field, not just circle above AJ.
Note: The actually gen don't say they are passive, so technically they should cost a move. And where it's the summon's "own version of a cannon". You'd need to post the cannon jutsu as reference. It's doing the same jutsu with a different medium by wording.
There are some contradictions too:
"*When the opponent falls under the effect of Selene’s ToN, they automatically transform into their human forms "
"*Neither Morpheus nor Selene can move in Human form "
"Once Selene’s Genjutsu takes effect, though, both automatically assume their human forms – and in this form, Morpheus is the one to be reckoned with. "
These lines make it so, Morpheus's effect goes off after Selene's but they turn to human form as soon as Selene's takes effect. But they can't move when it's taking effect so wont they just fall to the ground and feathers stop falling? It's all a bit... messed up.
I mean, the summon needs redoing in many ways but that isn't my problem.
Delta: Though, now Delta looks up, so he could see the birds. See the feathers, but rinnegan is immune to visual gen. The abilities of the birds is a visual effect. I don't get how it's bypassing the Rinnegan. So i don't get why you were saying you were feeling the effects? If you had EMS active it would be different as you'd have to keep trying to pierce the illusion over and over and fail in that sense. But directly from rinnegan rules "Complete immunity to Visual Genjutsu".
Anyway, you raise the earth to attack the birds. Go to strike. Also, Susanoo isn't a Surge.
TIme frame at this point is:
1. AJ summons
2. Delta raises earth leaving AJ on the ground
3. Aj would cut into the rock causing delta to fall
The way i see it is the only way this scenario is possible is like so:
Delta raises the rock all but where AJ is, but delta would have to jump off the rock to strike the birds being in the air. The rock couldn't actually hit the birds without lifting AJ up in the first place. Delta is immune to visual gen and can sense the birds with sage mode. Though needs to work on his wording.
AJ pulls the earth with his sword, drawing it to it, Delta falls to the ground. He's immune to the illusion. Aj needs to decide which mode is active. And i don't really see any other issues after that. What AJ did works in his last move. Susanoo isn't a surge....
If i missed anything VM me, not DM's, and i'll clear it up there. Don't tag me in discord, do it on site. Or get another check. If not it's Delta's move to reply to falling. This happens before the rest of his move, so no crumbling palm, no Susanoo.
Edit:
Sorry for the delay but i had to get the answers to some things before i could address what was brought to me, namely the genjutsu aspect. So here goes:
Rinnegan is immune to visual genjutsu and normally is immune to visual mediums such as a flash of light etc. But it is not immune to hypnotic genjutsu, only visual. I was linked a long discussion which if you want i can link you, but due to it being a hypnotic effect it will effect a rinnegan user. (My bad)
Though i got a confirmation on something else i was unsure on. In
This move, Aj performs Summoning and does the Graceful saw art. The problem is, any ability of a summon that doesn't state it's passive, counts as an active ability costing a move per turn. In this case, the illusions wouldn't be passive. This means that the variant of ToN and the False surrounding type gen would take a move each. Taking you up to 4 jutsu in one turn.
So as it stands right now, the genjutsu wouldn't actually be being used right now, as the moves per turn weren't spent. But with it being turns ago i'm going to adjust this so it's fair on both parties. Delta's earth rising attack failed, was cut down and falls to the ground thanks to AJ's last move. But in that turn his summons ability starts taking effect. This means that with it being delta's turn, if he doesn't break the illusion in the turn, he will fall asleep. He is not immune to the ToN due to being hypnotic but is immune to the false surrounding one as it's a visual gen.
