Kankuro has sasori puppet, mother/father puppet, hiruko, black ant and crow. You dont think sasori puppet can take down a couple summons on its own?

Good points, but as I recall correctly the Animal Path's Summonings can multiply itself.

Nagato somehow figured a way to summon it onto itself whenecer it gets injured. Its like a Trap Seal.

Logic says he can do it with otger summons too.

Anyway, Puppet Techniques were invented to counter shinobi, small targets.

So unless the puppeteer has broken horizen, like Sasori, then they are in trouble against targets which have broken the boundary of human-hood, like Animal Path who can flood the room with giants in 2 seconds flat

If they get poisoned then just resummon them and they technically should be fine, although we have not seen them be poisoned and then resummoned, at least I do not remember them being poisoned. So I can't say I am one hundred percent sure.
