History:
Takeno comes from a line of artistry and master craftsmen. His father is a naturally gifted craftsman who specializes in creating ninja headbands and masks for Amegakure ninja. His mother is a housewife who was a jonin. Takeno was born on the route to the nearest hospital in Amegakure inside a forest of bamboo, hence his name Takeno (bamboo).
Takeno was a small child when his parents moved from Amegakure. His father was low on cash, and there were not enough clientele to make ends meet. So he made the executive decision to move to Kirigakure, where he would find more business for his craft of making ninja accessories such as masks and headbands.
Takeno has always been more artistic than athletic and spent more time drawing on doorsteps watching his friends run in the streets. He practiced origami and basic crafting skills such as whittling that he picked up from his father. He was always around his mother, who spent her days teaching Takeno basic skills in ninjutsu, such as the clone technique.
Takeno marveled at his mother's stories. Some of them included ancient battles of war and carnage of the waring period and others of people she met along the way. As a Jonin originally from Amegakure, she spoke of the village heroes in the majority of Takeno’s stories. Konan, however, was his favorite. Takes of her using paper and origami to somehow overcome a pillar of challenges mystified his thoughts, and fueled his dreams. He dreamed of using paper as apposed to other jutsus simply because of its graceful nature. He wished to be like paper: versatile, durable and adaptive to any contortion, like the folds of his origami cranes that dangle from his ceiling. So he practiced under the guidance of his mother for years trying to lift paper with his chakra. However every time he failed. He got more and more upset with his inadequacy. Until he saw the paper start to float ever so gracefully off his table.
