Sagebee all you see now is that you were offended. We need some time distance to think and we will reread all these after some time, in a week or 2 and talk about this.
Until then anyway i don't think someone will want to host and if until end of january still no one wants to host I will host a february game if i'll have enough players.

This is the reaction of a salty player who lost and again didn't have the chance to play.
Noticing how many times i had to switch words with signs i can see you are complaining about SKs language and find it offensive. Also he was expressing a not pleasant judgement for your play style.
My games outside the site are always (almost) very strong at wording level so for me this post is way lighter than I could see in other places. I think you may look at SK like at a man who lost patience. Yes, he used strong words but i see more criticism than insults there.
I bet he wanted from you to see the criticism part more. Now is your choice to stick with a part or another but at least take it as a whole and think at the reasons of that wall post because it wasn't meant to be an insult because an insult is the most easy to write. But SK spent some time to make that post. Except you find it offensive what can you do with this post?
Playing at the end of the year more aggresive i received from two different players a negative feedback. I was thinking at it and didn't follow the post game war path but took the decision to change playstyle.
About myself as eg. in this game I was playing more lighter and carefree than usual, with a lack of self preservation, and even so I was extremely salty of my lynch. To be lynched in a game in day 1 with 2 votes and the rest of wagons at 1 vote is lack of game interest and care for your wincon especially for village.
Mafia is a game of logic and seeing that townies this game ignored logic, I was more sad than about my own lynch, and the dvc has my oppinion.
Whether we have to discuss more about how to play, whether we need some games of learning more about the game, at the current implication level and willingness to play is hard to improve. While improving at the game we should find a playstyle who brings joy and satisfaction at endgame no matter if you lost or won. Because imo the main reason everyone is playing is to have fun. We have to learn to play to have fun ourselves and let everyone else to have fun. This is my oppinion.
What do you think? What is your reason to play?

Really so what al sama said was wrong but what soul didn't both were insulting my intelligence souls actually had more insults so I'm not sure how your excusing it as something heat in the moment.
And after reading his post do you find what he said to be constructive and fair? Please michelle tell me what I should of pulled from it since his insults were all that my reads sucked and saying that I'm incapable of making good reads. So is that a fair assessment especially in light of his own reads in the game?
Tbh the way I'm taking this is your just defending your mod friend. If you think what he said is actually not intended to insult and actually try to be helpful please explain how.
Also yes the point of the game is to have fun and to do that it requires an environment that the players are respectful to each other even more so the actual mods of the game. When the mods start picking on players because things don't go there way what example does that set and what environment does that create.
It's very clear his objective was to only insult because nothing he said was substantive or even actually fair. And more than the insults I take issue its him trying to smear me as a player and undermine what I actually did in the game. I think he knows exactly what he was doing and had malicious intent to smear me as a player. Funny tho how he was bigging me up in the beginning for my playing style showing even more how insincere what he was saying.
I'm not really expecting either al sama or soul to own up to their actions. I can't trust either them to play respectfully and fairly with me in the future so I don't want to be involved in any games they are participating in.

sagebee, I am sorry i considered you will think at the game in a constructive way.
Thing is, i promised to come back at you with my oppinion, which i did. But i don't have the reason to reexplain the obvious and if you don't want to see all the picture it's nothing I can do.
Posting big words like trust, respect and fairness are nice in the vacuum but are looking weird near the last sentence you wrote.
Since the game finished i gave you few ideas, to read about the game which you refused, to host a game which you ignored, and to accept your own mistakes which you think are virtues.
The point of my post was not about SK and Al, was about you and how do you think at yourself in the game. But you keep talking only about everyone else.
Playing and knowing pretty well more than 100 players on various sites i always noticed willingness to learn and a pacifist way of solving things, connected with comprehension and friendship during the game. The few exceptions are outing themselves and i am sad to see you choose to be between them.

I thought you would sincerely engage with me address this issue but looks like it's more important to defend your mod friends. So you want me to just accept what he said as actually constructive and only reason you give is because he posted a long post. Do you think I didnt read it and soak up the "wisdom" of the post or something you cant even say what I was suppose to get out of it oh yeah because its "obvious".
And your telling me that the point of your post to me isnt to address the misconduct of the game but for me to reflect on am I playing to have fun? Yes obviously but how can I when the mods arent acting correctly which your intentionally dont want to address. And only focus on how I can improve myself that's my take away from all this that I should accept? So really that's what you made two weeks to discuss focus on having fun more while playing?
And what's wrong with the last sentence of my post all I said he that those two k cant trust to play respectably and fairly and not deal with issues and actually have a fun game I don't want to deal with them.
Wow really so you had no intention of actually addressing this issue and I was thinking you would actually of been an impartial mediator and focus on doing right to the players and the game. Instead you choose to validate al sama and soul :/ And if your sincere intention isn't to defend and validate them but also not address the issue of the game what exactly was the point of getting back to me then because besides defending soul siding with al sama in that post and telling me to solely look at myself as a player and asking me what I'm playing for and what I could do different, choosing not to address the issue but siding with it.
If you want dismiss me and not actually sincerely engage with me cool was expecting better of you tho.

First of all nothing I said to you was aggressive. Secondly my impression of waiting these two weeks was to sincerely address the issue and conflict of the game. Instead from your posts you say souls response is legitimate and that I should just accept it. And that you only want to address what I can do differently and that's it. If you legitimately think this is just an issue of a player giving constructive criticism than you should be able to explain how it's actually constructive and not just force me to accept it.
