When discussing the novels and manga adaptations of Momoshiki’s battles, which portrayal do you see as “the most canon”? The novels in question are Boruto: Naruto the Movie novels and Boruto novel 3: “Those Who Illuminate the Night of Shinobi!”
Obviously Momoshiki’s abilities and strength VASTLY differ in each respective iteration, we also know that Kishimoto was literally hands on with the Movie thusly establishing the abilities of said characters which the manga also followed; So I’m curious to know your answer. In the Novels apparently base Momoshiki was quite capable of destroying a world despite the Movie, Manga and even the Anime adaptions all deeming that feat a fallacy. The anime episodes involving Momoshiki were released after the novels were written and even they omitted that feat and instead continued to portray Base Momoshiki as a weakling.
Do you accept the attempted retcon (novel) despite Kishimofo and Ikemoto’s initial releases:
(movie and manga chapters)?
-My answer: I haven’t read any of the novels nor will I ever seek to, they are but filler to which the manga even refuses to acknowledge. To my knowledge, which is admittedly limited on this matter, Ikemoto has done very little to give credence to the novellas…those things being a reference to a field trip to Kirigakure (while also not hinting of the events that transpired therein lmfao) and giving Sarada a 3T sharingan. That’s rather pathetic and in terms of Momoshiki’s portrayal, he’s done zilch to establish a connection between them.
