Let's say that Elon Musk goes to Mars and he builds an underground railroad that goes in a circle around the planet.
They have engines that are so powerful the train can travel near the speed of light.
So by the laws of physics, people who board the train will be there for a week or so, they age no more than a week, they can sit and walk and do whatever they want on the train but when they exit the train the rest of the world will have aged 100 years approximately, this is all based on physics.

So basically, you have the choice to board the train and when you leave you will step into a future where you have been gone for 100 years, would you do it?

What would it take for you to do it?

I'd give it a chance if the plan were thorough and had intentions of assisting me after I landed into the future. It'd be real shitty if I were unable to enjoy the luxuries created with time because I end up nothing more than a time traveling hobo. I wonder if I'd have relatives that managed to survive those 100 years or if they'd view my choice as something similar to suicide. I may as well be dead to them if I take the opportunity. Matter of fact, this opportunity implicates me willingly erasing them from my world. It's kinda disrespectful..

I wouldn't choose to go through with it either. I would be leaving everyone I care about behind and cause them unnecessary pain if I did. Things would be very different a hundred years from now, and not having been around to experience the changes as they happened would make it hard for me to cope. I would feel so alone and lost. If my family and friends could join me, I might consider it. But I still don't think it would be a good idea. People in the future might be interested in meeting us, but I'm unsure what our role would be or how we could contribute to society then. My knowledge and skills might need some upgrading a hundred years from now lol.

What about you, Demon? Would you do it?

No I honestly wouldn't. But it's a fun thought experiment.
