Unnerfed Sasuke with his sword would have easily killed Naruto

Since the beginning of Part Two Sasuke has had/used his sword in every battle he had over the course of hundreds of chapters/several years. Yet lost it right before his battle with Naruto. After easily piercing Madara with it, it was left on the ground where Madara dropped it after removing it from his chest/heart. Then left behind when Kaguya teleported them to her lava dimension. It's obvious that Kishimoto removed it so Naruto wouldn't be killed.

It clearly would have useful during the ground battle after Indra's arrow (and the Taijutsu portion in the beginning of the anime fight), but Sasuke could have also ended Naruto within seconds if he pierced him through the heart. Unlike Madara, Naruto wasn't immortal. And through Shin it was shown that his sword can easily penetrate Naruto with little momentum. So adding in Sasuke's striking power would make it even more deadly.

Instead of using Chidori, he could have struck him with his sword.

You're Indirectly admitting that i'm right but indirectly acknowledging Sasuke was nerfed.

The only time he ever did that in canon was against fodder Omoi. And funny how you claim Naruto would counter when we literally saw him be directly hit with Chidori due to not even having the time to block, much less evade. With his sword he would reach Naruto even quicker due to it's length .

I also remember Sasuke using Amateratsu in that fight and he still failed to capture his target. Also Omoi does have feat witt his sword play lol. He helped recapture Sasori and Deidara after they were edo'd lmao

He only used Amaterasu as a last resort. If he used it right from the start he would have avoided any harm.
