Its more along the lines of:
suppose for a moment you are scum
you know theres a 3rd party
you see a towny looking scummy
you either get a ml or hit the 3p.

as scum you have a wider lens to observe what town players are doing poorly, and by extension which ones may have nefarious motives.

1) how do you differentiate between scum TMI and "cop TMI" in a non-claim role madness?

2) I have noted TMI next to Houtarou in my notes, but I don't remember why, possibly because a) he went after Rej from day start, b) he didn't seem invested in his discussion with ScarletCelestial. it's hard to fake scumhunting (I learned the term WiM, which stands for "want it more") when you already know everyone's alignment (so slacking comes natural). I don't trust my initial reads though, I suck at guessing. His fights with Rej, Odd (I think?), Scarlet all seemed to me like he wasn't that invested in the outcome, or in learning anything.
I'm not saying it's scummy, maybe I just don't understand these methods.
