This post marks the start of my mission involving the following storyboard elements:
-Claim a landmark for your own
Summary:
After arriving with the new recruit to the village, Nana decides to make the remote isolated landmark their base of operations for their conquest of Tobusekai.
They arrived at a precarious location, as they flew above the wrecked ships that had littered the shoreline below. Nanas gut instunct was tickling as thr etheral warrior dissolved and Raven turned towards Nana.
Well, this seems homely...i thought there'd be more, people, and liberation, and less, abandoned island?
It was true that it was remote, but it was a good start for them. They could establish a basecamp here for their future endevour. The location showed promise as a defensive strategic point, being capable of only being assaulted from the air by the sea, while there was a thick forrest ahead that would serve as excellent resources for wood, as well as excellent defencive ambushing.
Its true that this place isnt as populated as the rest of the land, however this will make an excellent start for us to begin. This location provides a large amount of resources, strategically its a great place to have a base of operations to work from because its so isolated. The shore provides a defence against sea based assaults, the forrest will provide cover from ariel attacks as well as a great chance to ambush invaders. The more we explore this place the more we will know about this land, to make sure that we know it like the back of our hands to take full advantage of it.
As Nana explained all this, she ventured forwards into the forrest making sure not to lose her companion. Every now and then she would mark a tree with her kunai with the symbol of Shimogakure, the special ninja snowflake, each branch representing the different famlies of shimo.
I should explain, this mark is the symbol of Shimogakure, the village we now protect and work for. Im marking these trees, and eventually all landmarks around this land to let people know, we now own this land. Hopefully anyone we come across as well will come to understand what it means.
They ventured futher into the woods each time marking more trees, or marking the stones around placing their symbol at the key points around the landmark. Eventually coming back to the center of the forrest, Nana set up a small circle of clear land that allowed them to create a camp.
Ill send word back to Shimo that we have claimed this landmark, and that this will be where we begin from.
Claiming landmark.
