Again, I believe this is a bug due to auto merger that shows the "last edited". Site was under maintenance yesterday and I guess some bugs still lurking. I did mention in the post before your previous one that it shows that I edited one of my posts as well and that it's most likely a bug. The server is fucking with us.

Again I did not give you any official warning. Just in general for everyone. Realized later on that its shows for alot of people who auto merged sign of "last edit". So, let's move on for now wanted to state something and I did. If people actually edited I will know so no one try anything funny

In this game will contain a Shop mechanic. Players can go visit the shop during the day phase. It will be closed once the day phase ends. A maximum of 3 players can buy the item in there at a time. Once 3 players buy something, it will be closed immediately even if the DP hasn't ended. The only thing you will find in the shop is a protective enclosure that is specifically made to protect you against shark attacks. If you buy this item you will be unable to use your night action for the upcoming night. You also won't be able to buy it in the next day phase. This shop has the possibility to go away for the rest of the game.

Basically I'm a bit concern about this shit.

I guess you don't get me. My point is: Why a town member will allow wasting an invest night ability on them when they can prove it by there play

The game just began, investigating doesn't need to be as specific or strict to sus players, I think it should, just be used on anyone.

We have 16 players, not including Drago. And in those 16 players, 4 probably are mafia and 2 probably are 3rd. So if invest gonna start invest all town in order to make a good alliance, in the meantime mafia probably be standing as the winner.

Time is a luxury that town does not have in the mafia, not all the time

I do get a town vibe from Ansatsuken from the beginning, as how attacking he seems to be right now to find the scum or confirm other's role, if he hadn't changed his playstyle that is.
About,
Oreki, he doesn't seem to be cool right now. After getting pointed by Ansatsuken. Unlike zorro who is chilled.

Michelle seems pretty decent as to why she seems relaxed about getting investigated.

Unless, Ansatsuken is partnerd with Michelle in the "Shark Company" and trying to put on a show of being innocent. Too early to make a judgement right now. The probability of them being in any faction is identically similar.

We are not just standing idle, doing nothing inside every DP and only waiting for NP m8. We observe, read players, looking for clue inside every DP.

And one fact you missed is that invest have higher chance to find town inside their investigation than Scum. It because Town formed a majority of players in Mafia. Players that play like a Scum could be a Town. So by investigating that Player and know about their true alignment that would help in clearing up that player.

So we have 3 players to buy the item during dp once its purchased it gets closed.

These items are used to protect against any shark attack .

So also noted if you buy the item the player cannot use Night phase.

i am still thinking at sharks attacks and civilians, more than anything. Adults, kids, family members searching each others, all are suspense elements of the flavour. I talks to my imagination lol.

I have town lean for Ansa and Oreki, also Ryu can be town.
Poison and Zoro make me worried, i have mixed feelings for them.

Alice ans Cemeteries are neutrals for now.

In actuality our arguments were about "Its good to apply this kind of investigation strategy or its actually not?"

I told Oreki if he keep coming at me and be negative over my strategy I'm gonna look at him, 1) as a wolf that trying to leads me into believing what I'm currently doing is a wrong strategy and that's not how town should play(especially invest). A Wolf that trying his best to manipulate and control my action. A Wolf that trying to play as Townie. 2) A Wolf that not expecting this kind of strategy would be used here and saw it very dangerous to the survival of Mafia. So trying his best to convince me and everyone that its not a best idea.

Tbh Scum will not against anything that can waste town ability. But when Oreki showed his concern(over my strategy) I think that genuinely what he believes as a town. He thought I only suggested that Investigator should go for Townie only and ignored suspicious players. That's what I believe.

But,

Then I saw Oreki mellowed down his reponse/action towards me. Feels that he unable to convince me so he chose to go with me. But they he did it feels unnatural.

So what's in my mind right now?

1) Oreki_Houtarou still not cleared. Like 60/40. 60% Town, 40% Wolf.
2) Poison Chan if she's mafia she trying her best to take advantage on my approach in this game. Post a read and gain my trust. How I came to this conclusion? Its Zoro and the way he presenting his opinion here;

3) Zoro has becoming my obvious suspect rn. His posting, his level of activity and weird approach into this game.
4) Ryu Kishi played very timid here.

Alright, I read through everything and it looks like there isn't much to talk about except for one thing. My opinion of Oreki's belief is quite interesting to me. I do agree that it's better to not check someone who claims they want to be checked, but it's not about the invest going "Hey, I think this guy's scum, time to see if I'm right." It's more useful to check null reads or individuals who act the same as either alignment. As for when a possible invest should reveal themselves: Don't do it unless if they think it's absolutely necessary. Don't out to confirm a townie and if they can lean the votes towards a red check without outing themselves, go ahead and do it

It's amusing the fact that you assume the invest can investigate one time.



I feel kinda weird vibes from this. From one side it can be all cool and dandy and you are actually a townie who want to gain people trust by asking the investigator to check you out first. But you see you can also be mafia god father who get investigated as innocent regardless. The fact that you are requesting it this early is making me unease at the moment. You are not in any tough spot or anything. Yet here you are requesting people to investigate you first.



A mafia/serial killer can prove to people that they are townie by their play. However, by investigating them you know for a fact if they are a townie or not and see if what they are doing is honest and pure or just all a ploy. Unless ofcourse if he is god father then at that point you just have to trust your instincts along with your analogy.



Highly doubt there 4 mafias in play here in a 16 player game. That is too much for a size of this game.

Again, not liking how you are pushing invest to invest you when you are not a major suspect yet. Also, this early in the game. It feels more like a serial killer with invest immunity or mafia god father trying to get on cop good side early on in the game.

I suggest, we wait until the end of the DP and agree together on who we think is the most suitable to be investigated etc.

Regarding the setup I tend to not think about it too much for now. Major rule in succeeding in any mafia game is to play it normally by scum hunting and lynching scum.

About -zoro- even you can see his post don't really hold anything worth, I mean you can write an entire essay just filled with game setup assuming information, but you can't count that as game-related information that let you [rgress the game, can you?

Personally I'd choose the towniest, reason being, they are my least sus, therefore being the ones with the most potential to commit NP killings without my suspition.

So why not have the invest check the people that reacted to the request instead of the person that requested to be checked in the first place? There's more information gained from checking someone who you're unsure of. And I'm pretty sure a framer would never frame their own teammates or even can because A. They would show up as Mafia anyway and B. Any invest check on that night would be guaranteed to be correct as the frame wouldn't be on a Townie.

Yes I always play like this. I'm not good in catching Scum. I base my readings on the tone of posts and not the actual content of the post.

I'm most comfortable when playing as a Townie because I don't need to defend myself too much and no pressure on my part on protecting my teammates and stay out of their way because of my noobish way of playing.

I would have to disagree with Oreki on invest a townie being a waste, Ansa has the right idea with respect to forming an alliance, so if I Ansa is innocent, it would mean Michelle probably is too, by association, and that would be a useful info for townies... I don't know about the whole Godfather stuff though (like I said, noob)




I find it suspicious that both poison, and Zoro, low-key vouched for each other (at least from my perspective) I could be wrong, but yeah, both are suspects. It's still early though, still observing...
