Where do you think Vegapunk calls homeland?

I have a theory that some beings that exist in the current timeline and some that have passed were part of the old times (pre void century era).

I believe people like Kozuki Toki, IM-sama, Zunisha and of course Vegapunk are part of this group.
Unfortunately thats all to the theory that these being are from the past lol.

I'll admit I forgot that one line in that one panel in a brief "where are the sh's now" chapter but to add a little argument to the discussion the residents tell Franky "this is where the genius was born" but that could as easily mean 'this is where Vegapunks creations/creative process/genius was born' i.e. where he began his research or it could mean literally 'this is where he was born' although the cover page on 549 makes it hard to see any other way but it wouldn't be the first time we've been mislead.
