Once upon a time there was a princess in a faraway land, deep within a great valley known as the Valley of Firery Eagles. Her name was Rei and she was renown as a great beauty across the land, that few could compare against. Once a year there was a royal banquete where all the princes of the neighbouring lands were invited, and at the banquete a game was held to see if any of them could impress the princess well enough to have a shot at a marriage, but every year the Princess was equally disappointed – none of the princes were neither that handsome nor that good at the games. The final part of the game was a fierce battle of wits where a great discussion was to determine the champion. Who could answer the most about the Valley's famous fiery eagels? The princess were great friends with the birds so if none of them could satisfy her with bird-knowing knowledge, they would never be a part of her bird-loving community. That is until one day a prince named Zise came and she immediately fell in love...
He became King, The End.

I would love to flesh this out but the limit is way too short for a proper introduction nor a proper ending
Maan and I had such a good story in mind, didn't even get to introduce the Evil Mastermind Versuvio nor the Wicked Grandmaster Caliburn and his sidekick The Witty Jas. And let's not forget about the Nobel Warrior Mugiwara or the Cleaver Pirate RokuNR, or even Rei's sister Lawliet!... Oh well, some other time I guess
Or! Now that I think about it, it said 1000 word limit, not letter limit, doh! Let's continue then! Where was I? Oh...
*Kremt* Let's go back a bit...
Having easily won the battle of might and of courage, the only obstacle that remained was his wisdom. This young prince Zise was wize beyond his years but he had a tendency to let that get the better of him sometimes so therefore he often times hid his cleaverness and pretended to be less smart. Having easily flown past Rei's questions about the fiery eagles though, he was granted a private audience with the princess on top of the highest cliff in the valley where the eagles took their first flight. Once there, the princess asked him why he had said so little since they started out on this journey there and he simply smiled at her and told her that he didn't want to bore her with too much intellect. He told her he had a follower once that got so bored of his snide remarks that he complained online and left a long-ass review. "Oh what on earth do you mean??" The princess said laughingly, not having the slightest idea what the word online meant, before she proceeded to take his hand and lead him over to a bird that was ready by the cliff's edge. Trying to answer her question, Zise was too stumped seeing a live breathing firery eagle up close for the first time. He had read a lot about them but never seen one in person. That, and the fact that they were standing near a hell of a high dive to certain death if they were to tumble over. Putting his hand on the bird, Rei then came closer to him and leaned into his ear and whispered "complete this final challenge and I am yours..." Stepping back, she then looked at one of the royal escorts who nodded back at her, before she then walked slowly towards the edge of the cliff and-... leaned backwards, falling over!! Zise was completely shocked and in panic, but the royal servant then yelled at him to hop on the eagle and save her. Completely baffled and not knowing if the flames of the bird would burn him, he jumped on and tried his best to steer the bird towards the falling princess. Would he make it? Just as he was about to reach her however, a huge portal opened up and a gigantic black raven came swooping in grabbing the princess by its claws. On top of it sat a mysterious man covered in black as the flapping of the raven's wings created huge gusts of wind, almost blowing Zise off his bird. In matter of seconds the raven was gone...
Not sure what happened nor what to do, Zise headed back up to the surface. Quickly landing the great bird, he dismounted and ran straight for the servant demanding answers. "Oh but this is all part of the challenge..." The servant then said. "What the hell is going on?!?!?! I'm going home!" He said outraged, after being baffled time and time again by this kingdom's utterly strange ways of getting their daughters married. Just as he was about to storm off the scene though, the servant grabbed his arm intensly, looking him straight in the eyes. "You will go to the Valley of the Dragons, there you will learn the path of the dragon and once you do, you will find the dragon and a way to save the princess. Complete this challenge and you have a shot at marriage, turn back now-... Well, you could always try again next year." The servant said with a evil smirk on his face. "In the name of all good in this world, is all this even necessary??" Zise muttered... "Go find the Grandmaster and he will teach you what to know and where to go. Hop on the bird, he will guide you there..." Taking a deep sigh, Zise jumped on the bird and they were off. Thinking to himself, he wasn't sure whether to be bothered or excited by all this. One thing was however certain... The Princess, would be his... Two days later he arrived at the path. Now to find the grandmaster and make meaning of all this...
I walked the Path of the Dragon but found only an old man at the top of the mountain. I asked the man the meaning of the path and where I'd find the Dragon, and he said:
"It is not the Dragon you'll find on this path, it is the Dragon you'll become."
"But how? How do I become the Dragon?"
"You will not simply become the Dragon..."
The Old Man then said.
"You will become the path that leads to the Dragon"
To be continued... Or not? Dunno really, lol. Hope you liked it!~
