Crystal Release is formed by combining wind and earth release. It was first shown been used by Guren in the three tails arc.
Crystal is strong against water and earth as these two elements can easily be turned into crystal making the element stronger. Crystal is weak against fire and lightning as these elements cannot be converted into crystal.
Crystal Release has a variety of uses. It can be used to make clones, imprison people in crystal cages, used as defense and as an offended in the form of dragons.

I don't see any difference between a crystal tool and a normal one.

The difference between them is like I said, the Crystal Techniques carry weight to them in battle, whereas normal tools don't. Your opponent isn't allowed to freeform dodge Crystal Release Tools produced by techniques, yet they can if you were to just say "I throw a Kunai". Though that can also work to the other way, meaning you can't just free form throw a bunch of crystal Kunai - you'd have to produce them from one of these techniques meaning you might not want to waste that jutsu slot in your move.

Can create one or two blades of Crystal on your arm, the crystal is produced from the body and is as long as a Ninja's Tanto. Pretty simple and standard attack jutsu, can be used in a variety of ways for CQC.

it's a good question, the mechanics of it were never really explained. The Third hokage literally used it to track Naruto in the beginning through that crystal ball. But then in the anime Guren uses it. Just happens that way.
A Stronger and Longer version of Jade Crystal Blade where the crystal comes directly from the arm restricting the hand. The Crystal will stretch into long range in one direction that can impale opponents ten meters away.
Standard technique where you form multiple shurikens around yourself and then you'd fire them forward as a barrage, again they're like normal shuriken except they have more power being a C-Rank technique.

This technique is awesome for creativity, and you can also manipulate pre-existing structures. The downside however is it's power and scale, it being C-rank means you have a limit on being a powerhouse with this one technique.

Quite funny how the technique says one name and then does a different shape. Pretty cool to boost your jutsus for a few turns even if it is just by 10 damage. To get a large boundary you would have to make the pillars further away, meaning they're vulnerable to being destroyed but you get a large area where your techniques can be amplified. Good custom potential from this.

The jutsu is a bit weak for an armour in my opinion, but once you activate it it's on you until destroyed and gives you a slight boost from taijutsu freeform attacks. I think this jutsu isn't really worth it though, what's your opinion?

I think the second element is good against enemies who use close range attacks. It covers you in that area,

I like this technique, simple dragon creation technique after weaving a few handseals. It can be used to rush yourself into Close range to then utilize some of these cool short range crystal techniques or nay short range techniques. Two dragons can be made with one use of this but the power of the technique is split between them.
This technique is dumb. You don't get a speed boost and you can walk on water anyway. I suppose if you want to hover above it and not touch it, due to it being acidic this works? Issa useless tech really, very ambiguous, I'm gonna talk to staff about it.

A pretty technique, the shuriken you create looks like a snowflake and is as big as yourself. IT's very sharp, the jutsu just states that the Three Tails' is stronger, bit mean of a comparison really.

In the anime it wasn't even capable, it was just to the same scale which doesn't equal power. Again it depends on the rank of the technique it's going up against in this RP. Like it would not be enough to combat a Tailed Beast Bomb. I believe you dont have much creative freedom, it's just a large area that's encased in crystal with no real "form".
Welp since I only just realised you can learn up to C-Ranks I been darn teaching you too much. We'll end it here until you rank up enough to be able to use S-Rank. Even though I've taught you more than C-Ranks you can only use C-Rank in battle, when you rank up you can start to use the more powerful stuff. That's my bad - have fun though
