Also there is a clear distinction with the Bijuus regarding their gender, the voices used convein their gender and none have genitalia. So are all Bijuus a she? Is the Ten-tails a she also? Nah, I'm just keeping up with appearances. Kurama is outwardly masculine and is meant to be portrayed as a menace, so a male voice makes more sense, but there's stronger reasoning for him to be a female such as being a tsundere and the chakra of a chick. Your logic doesn't hold because we know Kurama still maintains the biology of a typical animal regardless of being chakra. In her 8 Tailed Form you can see that she still has the anatomy of an animal like any other, so fleshy parts aren't automatically ruled out because she's chakra.

I don’t mean to take a wayfeom your point here but I don’t think the lack of genetalia on characters who are animals in an anime or manga series necessarily makes them female... don’t get me wrong I’m open to this whole concept it’s just it doesn’t feel like the most sound logic

You know our vocal chords are so different. It is like comparing a violin to a cello.. Our chords are literally longer and thicker due to a rise in testosterone during our teens (guys). Maybe women with deeper voices have a higher testosterone level than normally women do.

I got it, Kurama is a female but her voice is deeper because she has high levels of testosterone (Comes with being orange).
