I don't think so for two reasons one his ms eyes doesn't follow ms design patterns we see an ms eye either has multiple pointed sides. While his is perfectly curved.

Also we see indra is facing on equal terms ashura what appears in a rsm mode only with ms.

My guess is either indra had access to multiple ms abilities as the father of the sharingan or maybe pseudo rinnegan abilities.

I think he had EMS since he had to marry a non sharingan user to create the Uchiha clan which suffered from blindness because their blood line wasn't pure so his sharingan had more power that he doesn't need to replace his eyes to get EMS.

This is a big difference to when he first saw Kakashi's Mangekyo. He was in no way surprised here. Like Sasuke, Naruto was expecting him to get stronger with a boost he was aware of.

The fact that he didn't say so that's the sharingan or those are the his black flames tells you he didn't know. What cements that is Sasuke was also unaware of Naruto's Chakra mode, both became aware of it for the first time and behaved similarly.

Neither Naruto not Sasuke were expecting the other to get stronger, that's some serious reach on your part. Especially in the span of a few days to two weeks depending on how you view the time line.

Logically, the clash and Intel Naruto received prompted him to gain the Kyuubi's chakra right away similarly to Sasuke who immediately decided to gain EMS.

That's nonsense, he wanted to crush Naruto and his ideology. He was keeping many secrets for a reason if Itachi didn't give Sauce some intel he wouldn't have told him anything either, neither would Sauce know about the EMS. You're speculating badly with 0 proof and I'm done.
