Can the time limit on editing be removed? I don't see the purpose of a time limit as it only causes inconvenience as you are unable to edit your important threads after the time limit has passed.

This is insightful, I didn't know the edit limit time will always be a thing

Will always have a limit.
The limit it's like it was on NB? I usually edit my posts just for grammar or typing erors
Edit: there is a delete button, can I delete my post with it? in how much time?

The time limit is currently 1 day (edit and delete posts and own threads). These things might be adjusted in the near future as we see how things work out and how the tools are being used by the members.

I think a one month time period would be good as after that the thread cannot be bumped up again and the user will have to make another thread. Just an idea.

You guys should really let members edit their posts with no restrictions. It is one of those necessary features, and members shouldn't be left out of it

You can edit, for 24 hours it should be enough for you to have made up your mind about the post. That way you have to think before posting, we had edit time limited before the migration as well, so it's not like it's something that has just been implemented.
